Just yesterday he repaired a bathroom sink which required careful, diligent and thorough attention. It's a vintage sink. beautiful and well made. But the design is not well thought out in reference to repairs. The sink body can not be removed from the pedestal which means that you need at least three arms to hold a very heavy item and simultaneously replace old and broken parts. The sliding door in the balcony fell off and it wont even slide or couldn't put it back to the original location, heavily rusted. Tang fixed it and it can now slide without worrying about falling apart. 2. The insulator wall behind bathroom medicine cabinet also fell apart. He placed a new supporting backplate as you can see the picture 3. A small water leak under neath kitchen sink from the garbage disposal was also fixed by him. I was supplying the new legs myself which was metal to replace the original metal legs on the cabinet. They received the pictures of the cabinet and contacted me and they told me the cost would be between $450.00 to $500.00. I asked them why so much money, they told me because it a heavy cabinet. Anyway I hired a carpenter to replace the legs. Fact check--Carpenter was able to lift the cabinet by himself. He said the cabinet only weighed about 15 to 20 lbs. Fact check---Took less than a hour to replace the old legs with new legs my new metal legs are lot more sturdy than the old ones. Fact check---Total costs was only $150.00 Before you hire a handyman on yelp get 3 to 5 quotes from different handyman. Have them look at the project, look at their reviews, if they don't have any reviews don't hire them. I have been screwed over by 1 handyman on yelp that had no reviews, Now I will be sueing him in small claims court.

He explained what he thought would be the best approach and that one of his employees would give me a better idea when he arrived for the quote. Steve explained the pricing, hourly rate, etc. and that his employee would give me a final quote before starting any work. Derek arrived on time for the appointment (I also got a text when he was on his way which was a nice touch). We went through all the details together, he explained what he would do and the estimated cost. I agreed and he got to work. He did an excellent job and the door looks great. I asked about a second project involving our swing set which he thankfully had time to include. Again, he went over all the details and estimates before proceeding. The work quality was again absolutely excellent. Derek cleaned up his work area completely. The final price came in exactly where expected, which I will also say I think is a fair price for the length of time he was here and the quality of the work performed. He asked me about any other needs I had and gave me some documentation regarding the most common jobs his company handles in case I need anything in the future.
