They have a build a bear type of section that you can customize to you preference. They also had a coffee bar that is can get a quick drink. They have a little grocery section if you want some snacks or beverages. I grabbed some water and sodas for me and my daughter. Prices reminded me of 7 eleven so expect to pay a little more. It was very convenient since it was close by.

The grocery section is pretty small but had everything I was looking for - sliced bread, fruit, vegetables, and milk. The price is roughly 2 times what you would expect to pay at Food Lion though - $5 for half a gallon of milk, $5 for a loaf of bread, etc. There's also an assortment of souvenirs if you're interested in that kind of thing, including a mini Build a Bear type machine (where you stuff the animal with cotton and pick out an outfit). Although we didn't go fishing at Massanutten, we did hear that you can buy fishing bait, a fishing license, and rent fishing gear here too. Apparently their lakes are stocked 8 times a year so there's always fish!

Not to mention the amazing support they show for the local market--they sell muffins, cookies and other baked goods made by local people, and always have a few CDs from local bands (which Harrisonburg has no lack of!). Also, there's usually a bulletin board up displaying events happening in the area like live music, farmers markets, yard sales and things of this nature. Midtowne Market is a great little convenience store in downtown Harrisonburg. It has the little…read morefood items you might need on a whim. They also carry pre-made lunch type food. More importantly, and the reason I am writing this review, is that Midtowne Market stocks an ever changing selection of unusual/hard to find beers. They stock Rouge Ales, Bell's Beer (a good brewery from Michigan), and many other brands that you will be hard pressed to find without a trip to Northern Virginia. Finally, note that their selection is ever changing, so on a positive note there will usually be something new to try, but on a negative note, you might find your new favorite beer only to have it disappear the next time you visit. It's not perfect, but it's a refreshing change from the usual beers sold at supermarkets elsewhere.

LOCATION. This is the closest gas station to Massanutten. We stopped here only to fill up on gas…read more ACCESS TO/FROM PUMPS. Given the layout of the road to/from Massanutten, this gas station is easier to access when leaving Massanutten rather than going in. Once in, there are multiple pumps that were relatively easy to access. It tends to be a busy station with cars accessing the pumps and the parking spots directly in front of the store. GAS PRICE. The price per gallon was competitive with prices that we had seen on our way to Massanutten from central Virginia. We did notice a station on Rte. 33 towards Harrisonburg that was 2-cents per gallon cheaper later on the same day. We didn't go into the store, but noticed a sign for "Raise the Roost", chicken and biscuits which are sold in the store.

We were here to zip line and rode the go karts. It was good they had cold bottled water and glass cokes for us to buy. These were enjoyed, and replenished our hydration. Good staff working.
