Then I received a phone call from a new, nasty-sounding woman who said you can have it done if you pay $120.00 for an eye exam first. Well, that's ridiculous when I have just had surgery. I have to wait for the eye to heal. All I wanted was a pressure test that takes a small amount of time, and I'm happy to pay to be sure there was no problem with my operation. The woman who adjusted my glasses when i picked them up was nice too. My doctor is good. They do eye health tests and followup from specialist. The bad: They do not have enough staff to meet the high volume of clientele. The staff is managing with no support and guidance from anyone it looks like. The women seem to do a little of everything there. It is strange when you see the person who performed your test is also booking your next appointment and taking your money..? They do the old school billing. They do not submit to 3rd party insurance. They dont answer the phone!!!

I get my eyes examined at Westboro eyeDOCS but…read morewhen I need some additional testing they send me to this location as they have more equipment and are able to do tests that other eyeDOCS locations can't. I recently had a Visual Field Test here and was happy with the service. Staff there are nice and friendly and the place is very clean. They keep the floors clean by asking all patients to cover their footwear with disposable blue shoe covers when you enter the office. There's a door-less closet for you to hang up your coat as well (with hangers, not just a coat rack where other people pile their coats on top of yours and then when you leave you have to remove like 5 coats to get to yours and I always have to pray that my coat doesn't smell like cigarette smoke or isn't covered in cat hair afterwards, yeah can you tell I hate public coat racks). Like other eyeDOCS locations, they have a small selection of eyeglasses frames for sale. This location has free parking at the side of the building and behind the building. The office is a bit awkwardly situated right off of a roundabout, but there usually not too much traffic there, at least not the times that I've been.
