The good: they offer discounted frames at a good price. You can't beat their prices!! They obviously do not make much money on a pair of glasses sold because if you price them anywhere else, they are more expensive! The women who do the tests are always friendly. The woman who adjusted my glasses when i picked them up was nice too. My doctor is good. They do eye health tests and followup from specialist. The bad: They do not have enough staff to meet the high volume of clientele. The staff is managing with no support and guidance from anyone it looks like. The women seem to do a little of everything there. It is strange when you see the person who performed your test is also booking your next appointment and taking your money..? They do the old school billing. They do not submit to 3rd party insurance. They dont answer the phone!!! read more

Optician poor. Front counter staff much worse. Nasty. Unhelpful. Not really suited to your 1st impressions of a business. Took 4 months from initial visit to receiving my new glasses. Includes having a second eyetest. As 1st one was not right. Paid up front too. New glasses look nice on my bedside table. I am still using my 13 year old glasses. Why ? Probably because they work. My optometrist was excellent, I give Dr. Yoemans 5 stars! But their follow up customer service is terrible. I have been a customer for over 12 years. The glasses were purchased 3 months ago; the staff person said "they are not repairable and they refuse to replace them." The clerk who repairs was not at all sympathetic and it seemed as if the fault were mine for deciding to buy their discontinued line. The excuse was - they are $45 frames and are discontinued! Come on they are reading glasses. Now I know why they are discontinued - they are junk! I think $45 for 3 pieces of wire for reading / public speaking glasses is still enough to have a decent pair of frames. My advice is: get your eyes checked there but don't buy their Glasses. read more

I agree with the other review. I have been going to this office for many years and while I find my eye doctor terrific, the front staff is terrible. Basic good customer service is to look up when someone walks in and say "I will be right with you". I have stood at that desk for five min with three staff ignoring me. I am not expecting them to drop everything but a simple acknowledgement should be given. There are two who are really nice but three who are just awful and downright rude. The girl that sits at the far right with the medium length dark hair is so rude it is unbelievable. And the girl who sits more towards the left with the short dark hair, thinner, is also incredibly rude. I cannot believe they get away with this behaviour. read more

I've read reviews on here before that weren't very flattering about the office staff at this optometrists office, and now feel I need to write my own. I honestly cannot believe such talented doctors would allow such rudeness from his front staff. The eye rolling , the snarky comments, and and the overall snotty talk down behaviour is unreal. The girl who straightened my glasses was very nice and helpful, but in the 6 or 7 other times I have dealt with these women, I have found them to be absolutely awful. After todays little episode, I will never go back there again, and I will tell everyone I know how terrible they are. Get it together ladies, stop the bitchy and sarcastic tone. The people that come there, pay your salary! I would not put a star at all, but I can't post without one. Dr. Maloney and the girl who straightened my glasses both deserve a full 5 stars, but the rest of the staff don't deserve any. read more
