Not by the hinge, the actual arm itself. I just moved to the PEC area from Toronto and found out about Davids online. Before the move, I must have asked at least 5 optical shops in Toronto if they could help fix my frames. My lenses are quite expensive and were in great shape, relatively new, so I wanted to salvage them. It was one no after the other, most pushing for me to buy new glasses all together. I called Davids the same day I was going into Kingston and the opticians there managed to squeeze me without issue. As soon as I walked in, I knew I was in good hands. They were helping another customer fix the bridge of his glasses. This place is first class in service, and they offer repairs which is becoming more rare these days. This mother daughter optician duo not only fixed the two arms of my glasses , replacing the entire hinge and finding matching arms from a collection of parts they keep onsite to repair glasses, but they took an old frame of mine and within a week made me a new pair of lenses. I have a pretty strong prescription, it usually takes 2-3 weeks at the very least from the time of order. The can do attitude and customer service I received at Davids is truly hard to find in the retail landscape these days. I can totally trust and rely on these opticians with my vision needs. I am over the moon I stumbled on this rare retail gem. Its hard to find this type of service anymore with people who genuinely love their craft and want to help people see better, fairly and with good intention. If you need frames in the PEC, Bellville ,Kingston and surrounding area, seriously this is the place to go. Your eyes will smile!!!

Filson bags, backpacks, sunglasses, grooming products, candles, home scents, candles, books and blankets as well. They have an interesting selection of brands from Carhart WIP to Harleys of Scotland and back to Raised by Wolves. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I had a long chat about items they'll be getting and there's some interesting things coming in for the spring and summer. I'll be back to check what shows up in the near future.
