I never called and other than this short string of emails - had no other contact with either of them. I'm not sure how sending an email late in the evening makes me difficult to deal with. I guess I shouldn't have a job that requires me to work nights? Ironic that they responded even later. The comments about the insurance weren't at all relevant given the fact they'd never have been able to get insurance for the job (and I'd never have been able to get a permit from the city) because they were not registered with the city to work within its limits. A business has to register with the city codes department in order to do work there. No one can do that registry but the company itself. Insurance had nothing to do with it. "Vermin"? Yikes! They did return the deposit check promptly as promised.

Had the designer come out to he house in May of 2022.Measured doors we picked out doors etc. Put down the deposit. was told doors would be ready in September. September comes no call from Chapman. I call them with no response at all. The customer service and response from Chapman was awful a zero. Finally get a date for installation which ends up to be December of 2022, 3 months after I was told doors would be in. after many calls from me to set up install no calls from Chapman ever . They come with the door finally and the door was measured wrong by the designer. They have to order a new door. Installer said he was supposed to have come out and measured again before doors were ordered which never happened. Installer was amazing. New door comes in of course I had to call Chapman they never called me to tell me doors were in. Scheduled a date again . Chapman screwed up installation date a few more times. Today Chapman finally came out to put the last piece on the door . Products are very good and our installer was excellent!!! Chapman customer service and support was awful. They never called me I always reached out to them. Never confirmed appt . Not sure I would ever use them again

It was not something we asked about but was a nice added benefit to hear about when we decided to purchase the unit from Tony's and have them install it. The first time they came to install it they didn't have all the part's needed so we had to reschedule. We were very understanding. When they came to install it the second time the installation person kept telling us how hot his house gets when he runs his gas fireplace unit and we will be surprised how much heat it will generate. Well after trying the unit on many occasions that has not been our experience at all. The unit generates no heat at all it just for looking at I suppose. When I called to ask them about the difference in what we were told about the unit and what we were experiencing they said they would get back to me. I'm still waiting for a call back. It's 2 months, and several more calls on my part and now they are saying they never said it would give off heat. Very untrustworthy company. Would never use them again.

Two years after purchasing out home, we learned that we had to relocate to Florida for work. We knew people would fall in love with the house as much as we did and that it would be a quick sale. Boy, very wrong. The offers came in quickly however, the sale did not. I sit here writing this review a year from the time we initially listed our home. Our prospective buyers inspection repair list came in at a whooping $100,000 and included a request to complete an exterior remediation because they suspected the stucco remediation competed just two years prior was not done correctly. We refused to fix because there was no evidence there was an issue - it was just done and we hadn't had any issues! But because we were selling and wanted to do the right thing, we reached out to an architectural firm and got their opinion. Unfortunately, the bad news came back that we truly did have an issue and we would need to start the journey to remove the NEW siding and replace it, along with all 43 windows and a couple of doors. We reached out to the contractor who originally completed the work. Given the concerns, there was clearly an issue with the workmanship and it should be corrected. The contractor declined to come look at the home and started blaming the previous owners who contracted him for the job. After several weeks of back and forth trying to get the story straight, we knew we had to move on and try and find a reputable company to help with complete the repairs. I reached out to at least 5 different contractors to try and fix the problem. I would either get proposals for a bandaid fix because they knew we were selling the home or not get in contact with them at all after calling multiple times and leaving messages. This was also in the mist of the COVID-19 pandemic so contractors were busy and materials were starting to be scarce. It was a total nightmare. Thankfully I made a call to Glick's exteriors and Sam came out right away to assess the situation. Sam was able to identify the flashing issues and got to work. We had a variety of options to choose from with Certainteed and he did some hunting around to find quality windows and sliding glass doors within our budget. We replaced the lower tier siding with siding in modern colors that did the home justice. During the project, there were flashing issues identified with the hardscaping, we opted to fix the issues and the crew was also skilled to remove complete the job so we didn't have to hire another contractor and project manage schedules. Our home looks better now than the day we bought it people compliment us all the time on how it looks. Aside from the esthetic, the new windows now make it more energy efficient. It is like a 100 pound weight off our shoulders! The workmanship is beautiful. The crews are super professional; they arrive early, stay all day, show respect for our home and neighbors, and leave a small footprint. Sam, Scott and Chris are more than competent to handle stucco remediation and apparently failed remediations; they also don't try to sell you on repairs you don't need. Sam is a person of action - you call him, he calls you right back. You have a question or concern, he takes care of it right away. He made it as painless as possible, and is a very honest and humble guy to work with. I wholeheartedly recommend Glick's Exteriors!
