They provide a heat-and-serve free breakfast like other hotels these days, but it was below average. Frankly anything that was heated was uninspired and not very good. Couple tips: they don't have an elevator, so get a room on the main floor if you can't handle carrying your bags up a flight of stairs. Also, if you're a late sleeper don't count on your room being cleaned. We left late morning, found our room wasn't cleaned by that evening, and were told housekeeping "makes their final round late morning". But they did bring us some towels and apologized. At over $100 per night it's a little pricey but the nicest place you'll find around the area.

This hotel was in a great location, easy in and off I-80, employees were friendly and eager to help their guests, either on the phone or in person. Beds were clean and comfortable. It was quiet. Its located off a side road from the "main drag" in town so i feel like that makes it both convenient location but also more quiet than if it was on a main road. The manager called the next day and then once I got my mailing instructions to her, packed up the item and then took it on her own time to mail it to me. Walking into the lobby was our first sign that we should have left immediately. The overwhelming odor was impossible to ignore and honestly made us gag. Unfortunately, because it was late and we were exhausted, we tried to make the best of it. We were traveling with two cats and specifically chose this hotel because it advertised itself as pet-friendly. Upon check-in, we were informed that they only have one room dedicated to cats, which is something that should be clearly disclosed before booking. That room, however, was in extremely poor condition. The smell in the room was just as bad as the lobby--strong, stale, and unbearable. We tried to tolerate it, but it quickly became too much. We went back to the front desk to ask for another room or a refund, and both were denied. The only solution offered was an air freshener, which did nothing to address the underlying issue. I have stayed at many hotels that allow cats, and there is no logical reason a room or lobby should smell this bad. Being pet-friendly does not mean sacrificing basic cleanliness. I would not stay here again and strongly recommend looking elsewhere, especially if you're traveling with pets or arriving late with limited options.

The hostess gave me a tour of the house and a cold glass of water. (A hot day of riding my motorcycle over 425 miles.) The woodwork and leaded glass windows are spectacular.
