He was very knowledgeable and unlike other shops was not pushy at all and just focused on what I came in there for (aspire k3 coils). I'd like to preface that I have been to the Twisted Glass Smoke Shop many many times in the…read moreMarietta, Beverly and Parkersburg location and the employees that they have working at those locations have always been amazing, and very very knowledgeable and helpful. Especially, Brad, Gary, and the gentlemen that helped me today at the Beverly store. All of them, very professional and helpful. I've ALWAYS had a great experience with them until now. The reason I'm giving this review 2 stars and not 5, is because of the stores management. I recently bought a "high five" unit at the Murdoch store, and they were very busy, so I'm not bashing the employee, but they forgot to put in the coil for it, rendering it useless. I live a lot closer to the Beverly location, so I assumed; since they all have the same parent company, that they would exchange it for me since their organization were the ones that gave me an incomplete package. Especially with the previous experiences I've had with their staff. Easy Peesy right? Wrong!! The employee told me that he had to contact his boss (Andrew) to see if they can exchange it there at the store, vs me taking it back all the way to Parkersburg and back, and Andrew told him initially that I would have to go back to Parkersburg and it's not his problem (I can hear him over the phone saying this). I explained to the employee my justification and that I would like to personally talk to Andrew, and the employee called Andrew again, and the employee asked Andrew if I could speak with him in regards to the exchange, and Andrew said, it's not my problem, I'm not talking to him and you can call Danny the owner. The employee tried multiple times to contact the owner, to no avail, and he even told Andrew this, but apparently Andrew isn't concerned about his organization or it's customers. Finally, the employee had to call the owners mom to ask for permission since Andrew left his employee flapping in the wind, and the other owner was unresponsive, which I understand it's a holiday weekend. No problem, I get it. Luckily the owner's mom saved me a few hours of driving, applied logic and common sense to an easy situation, and exchanged the item for me. If it wasn't for the excellent treatment by the employees and the owners mom, I'll be back. But I think someone should look into Andrew's organizational management skills. That's no way to treat your customers, and it's absolutely no way to treat your employees. You put that young man between a rock and a hard place, and DELIBERATELY would not diffuse the situation. You should be ashamed of yourself Andrew.
