Some items are probably on consignment from people the owner knows and knows need to make a buck. Some seem to be too-good for this space. A few of the prices are surprisingly low, but you don't come here to find items at prices for restocking your eBay store. Check in from time to time - and if you need to, make an offer. I think most of the prices are right - and if you buy something here rather than on eBay or Bonanza or Mercari the money stays in the region - and you won't have to pay for it to be sent somewhere else.

So many vendors selling food, live music on the levee, a Sternwheel pageant, races, the most amazing Fireworks show you can imagine, children's activities, a car show, and of course Sternwheelers from all over the country. My advice would be to book a hotel well in advance, because they fill up fast. This is not your average small town festival, this festival brings in the crowds of roughly 100,000 people to the area. Once you attend, you'll realize why people come back again and again to this annual event!
