A while after I hired David to make sure the irrigation system in my new home was working, I notice…read morethat lots of my garden is dying. This made me take a closer look at the irrigation system, and the work that David's team did is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! They did not set up any zones, they installed valves that were not needed (and charged me for them), they have overburdened the valves so half my garden isn't getting water, AND they used electrical wiring that is not meant for outdoors! Now I am going to have to pay someone else to come back and fix my whole system. I don't think these gardeners actually know anything about irrigation systems! TERRIBLE!!!!

He and his team worked incredibly hard to make our vision a reality with excellent communication and skill all at a reasonable price. We are new homeowners and our property needed some massive clean-up. They have taken down a dead tree, built new concrete and wooden steps, built three brick retaining walls, tore out and redid our patio, weeded and tilled our plantings beds, weed-whacked, and raked our slanted hillside for fire prevention. All with so much kindness, grace, and attention to detail. The completed job is PERFECT. They always checked in along the way and were quick to pivot based on what we wanted. He and his team feel like part of the family and we could never go to anyone else. David has two young kids and employs many local people which we love being a part of. We cannot thank him enough for his excellent work!

Alfredo, of Alfredo's Tree Service, knocked on our door. He politely introduced himself, and he…read moretold me about his tree trimming service. He quoted me a fair price for the trimming of our 73-year-old Chinese Elm. I agreed. The job Alfredo Tree Service did was professional, expedient, and clean, with no communications issues. The team immediately began work on the Chinese Elm. The Chinese Elm was trimmed substantially. Alfredo's team cut more of this tree than has been cut in the past, removing approximately 1/4 of the tree's volume, thereby ensuring the tree's stability for the upcoming winter rainy season. Yet, Alfredo was careful to ensure the Elm was pared-back in the proper places and that it retains a natural growth look. He was also conscientious of our neighbors' wishes, making the greenery on their side trim, but natural and lush. The original plan was to distribute the chipped limbs and bark onto the front yard, under the tree. But -and I already knew this would likely be the case, as we've had this tree trimmed many times over the years- there was far too much bark for yard coverage. So, it required a truck to haul it off. There was an additional fee for this, which was perfectly reasonable. I recommend Alfredo Tree Service if you are considering work on large or small trees. His service is professional, efficient, and clean.

I told him it had just been cut. Price kept changing for front trees. No paper estimate but I felt like helping him out. Gave me long inappropriate hug. They left a big pile of chipped wood in driveway. I was a fool, he had no license or insurance. I paid him $500 cash. Stopped payment on balance. This "business" is illegal and a rip off. BEWARE. It's been almost 2 months since he last communicated, so I write my experience to warn you. He was dishonest, he accepted payment for work he didn't do, he won't communicate or make things right. We hired Ed and his company to cut down 4 trees and remove 5 stumps. One stump required the dismantling of a section of fence which he agreed to do and then repair it. We had a written agreement and paid him in full. Expensive but worth it, we thought. The fence didn't need to be dismantled and replaced because the stump was rotten and removed by hand. When suckers started growing from the roots of two of the removed trees and stumps, I started digging up large roots. Under a pile of wood chips I found 2 stumps that had only been ground to surface level. I sent photos to him and asked for removal assistance. After several attempts he said he would come by and remove them. Then we got ghosted. He won't respond. I think he's fine if things go well. However, If there is an issue, he reveals his true self. The 2 stumps are in what will be an in ground food garden area and can't be poisoned. They're still there. I've used a sawsall and a jackhammer. Beware
