I want to commend Valentine, the service rep who coordinated the warranty repairs on my RV. When I…read morefirst went in to get some work done he found two recalls, one from before I bought the RV, and another I had been told of via a Forest River recall notice. Both were accomplished in a timely manner. After a month plus delay in receiving a part, not the fault of the dealer, all of my warranty issues have been resolved. Valentine kept me apprised of the progress in getting the part on a regular basis. That attention to detail was greatly appreciated. Kudos to Valentine - he is an asset to his employer. PS - I'm knocking off one star from the overall 5 star rating because the techs didn't adequately clean up after themselves. Also my trash container lid was broken during my first visit. I told Valentine about it tdy & he offered to buy me a new one...I appreciate the offer but it would not be worth the hour long drive to go back to get it. Valentine gets 5 stars

Only when we had questions did anyone accompany us. Fermin, our first salesperson seemed fairly new and got assistance from Anthony when he didn't know the answer to our question. We arranged to have a particular fifth wheel set up with electric the following week so we could see the many features the RV had. The following Monday we met t the appointed time and Anthony walked us through the rig and answered all of our questions. He wanted to sit down and deal with us then but we had brought friends to look it over and wanted to talk with them and eat some lunch so we arranged to come back a little later. We sat down, discussed trade in value on our RV, they got our credit report, the numbers were crunched and we arrived at an agreeable price and put down a deposit that afternoon. The following week we walked through our PDI with Pete, the service technician that headed up the work on our new RV. He walked through with us, explaining everything with enough detail even I understood most of it. He even had me video the presentation on the stereo/sound bar/TV stuff for future reference. They then moved both RVs side-by-side with a ramp between the doors so we could move lol our belongings from the old RV to the new RV. They set us up for overnight camping in their back lot with full hook ups too. I'm impressed by the Ron Hoover in Donna, TX. Give them a shot at your business.

Gooding RV Center, Mission Texas…read more I have a Forest River fifth wheel RV that I did not purchase locally but needed maintenance parts. After contacting Forest River and getting the part numbers, I was told that I could not order directly from the manufacturer but had to order my parts through a dealer. Gooding RV Service Center is just down the road, but sells models different than mine, but I took a chance and visited. The gentleman, I believe the owner, was very polite. He looked up the part numbers and ordered them for me. He didn't even request a down payment. He called me when the parts arrived, I returned, paid and was on my way. Although I have not made a major purchase at Gooding RV Service Center, I would recommend them based on my experience.

There is such a lack of professionalism here. My husband and I have never felt welcome there, whether they're just having a bad day or whatnot, there's no excuse for showing a lack of willingness to help. I don't recommend this place at all. From the get go, Carlos made it very clear that transparency was his #1 priority and delivered it every step of the way. He was eager to help and made the whole process feel so relaxed. When I initially didn't find any cars that fit my preference, Carlos offered to bring in some from other locations that did, without any pressure to commit. What really impressed me was how much he advocated for me, coordinating with his team to work out the best deals like securing a lower car note and pushing for a zero down payment. He was even able to find affordable insurance for me! On top of that, he was super responsive, keeping me updated and addressed any concerns I had. You were really able to see how much he cares about his clients. He definitely made the entire experience feel like I had a friend helping out rather than just a salesman. And to complete my dream team, Carlos introduced me to Stephanie in finance. She was an absolute gem. She broke everything down so clearly, from understanding the pricing, payments, and optional coverage. Considering all of that was unfamiliar territory, she did a great job at making sure I never got lost in the process. She was extremely considerate when it came to finding me coverage that still fit within my budget. On top of that she shared a few tips that would help in the long run. All her help was a huge weight off my shoulders. I'm really grateful she was able to help me secure that safety net without stretching my wallet too thin. Between Carlos and Stephanie, I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with. So whether you're also a first time buyer or just looking for a great deal, these are the people you want by your side. I've already recommended them to several friends and will continue to do so. They truly made this experience stress free and memorable. A big thank you again to both of them! :)

ON MY SOAPBOX!! DO BETTER BERT OGDEN-CHEVY MISSION!!!…read more If I could pick a zero star I would. I am fighting with Bert Ogden Service center since this morning. Long story, so please get ready. They have had my Traverse truck all week, today is FRIDAY. It was towed to them because we couldn't get it out of PARK and the whole dash was lighting up like a damn Christmas tree!! We get it to them via a Tow Truck and it stays PARKED for TWO WHOLE DAYS without ever being TOUCHED by ANYONE!! Do you want to know why??? Because the Tow Truck (that delivered my Traverse to them) "Parked it too far from them and they couldn't get it close enough to them to check it!" That's the lame excuse their service department told me. Doesn't Bert Ogden Motors OWN their own damn tow trucks to move vehicles closer to the convenience of their service employees?? NOW, they FINALLY get it close enough to "check" it (never told me how) and apparently it took SIX guys to try and turn it off. They couldn't figure out how to turn off my truck, at the SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! Someone (didn't get the name) then tells me on the phone that they are short staffed and that the original Tech my spouse spoke to (in charge of my truck) was out. Mind you, the gentleman told my spouse yesterday he was going to be out for a while as his wife was having a baby. Today on the phone JD (I got a name) tells me the original tech my husband spoke to is out on an Emergency. I told him not to lie and that he was out on paternity leave, which he is completely entitled to per law, BUT if everyone knew he was going to be out, others had to pick up his workload, No?? JD then tells me "let me find out who your tech will now be and I will call you back." I tell him "NOPE! Put me on hold. It's not like I have anywhere to go since you all claim you do not have a loaner vehicle for me while my vehicle is getting serviced!" I was upset and continued to tell him, "You all are taking your sweet ass time trying to figure out what's wrong with my Traverse , EVEN THOUGH YOU ALL HAVE THE FANCY GADGETS THAT YOU SHOULD JUST PLUG IN AND IT'S FREAKING SUPPOSED TO TELL YOU WHATS WRONG WITH MY PANEL AND SENSORS?" I do get placed on Hold and JD comes back on the line and says "I WILL call you back in 30 minutes once your car is "assigned" to a new tech!" It's been MORE than TWO hours. You bet your ass I called back.... Asked for JD and told him, "You were supposed to call me an hour and a half ago. Did you find out who the new tech is?" He tells me it's "Lauro" AND that he's working on my Traverse right now. It's Friday for God's sake... I doubt I will have a vehicle for the weekend!!! Bert Ogden Motors is great to sell the vehicle.... Servicing it???? Not so much!!!! And we ALL know that living in the Valley, it is impossible to be without a vehicle. Don't suggest Uber/Lyft unless YOU are willing to pay for it!! Lord, Forgive me for ranting and losing it on incompetent people but please, guide Lauro and give him the ability to figure out what's wrong with my vehicle. Apparently, approximately over SIX other employees have NOT been able to or even attempt to in the past week. Worse Service Ever!!!! Ok. RANT OVER. FOR NOW.
