Service is not the same ever since Sames Ford took over. Service lane keeps you waiting even after your schedule appointment. If you ask them to check anything else theyll say yes and when you pick it up they say, 'ohh yes, theres something wrong but do not call you if you wanted repair after it was already there for three days for one screw and you need to set up another appointment. Mind me saying its under warranty. Not satisfied.

These are the nicest people on the planet. Highly recommend. We needed some help with our vehicle and they were absolutely wonderful.

They ended up offering me $18,500 for my car, which seemed a little low, so I decided to sell it on my own. I continued checking the Elliff website looking for a truck. The following week they listed a car just like mine, 1 year newer but with more miles and less options. The blue book value on my car was higher by $500. This car was listed at $26,900. So now I know they pay about 70% of their list price on vehicles. I went back to Elliff in June 2014 ready to purchase a truck. I reminded the salesman of my previous visit and the car listed the week after. I was looking at a truck they had listed at $27,900, which I assume they paid around $19,500 for. I told the salesman this and offered him $23,000 for the truck. His manager refused to even counter-offer and they became somewhat rude at that point. Obviously they don't like people knowing their margins, as it affects their profits. Well, now you all know their margins as well, and will hopefully use that knowledge to your advantage. I guess this dealership must be under different management compared to when my grandfather was a customer, as I definitely did not have the same positive experiences he did. My suggestion would be to visit Cardenas or Frank Smith as they seem to have much better deals on used vehicles, and their salesman are also much more laid back.

After approximately two months, I was told the repairs had been completed and my vehicle was returned to me. Less than two months later, I took the vehicle to Tipton Hyundai of Brownsville because I was still experiencing transmission shifting issues, the alignment was noticeably off, and the replacement trim on my driver's door handle had already fallen off. Tipton Hyundai's inspection identified multiple issues that should have been repaired or discovered during a proper multipoint inspection. They found a severely worn and tearing belt causing the wobbling and noise I had reported, a broken replacement door handle trim piece, glue on the exhaust that was causing the burning smell, and an alignment that was significantly out of specification. They also advised that an underlying suspension or steering issue may be causing the alignment problem and should have been diagnosed because it will continue causing alignment issues until repaired. Before learning about these additional problems, I requested only a refund for the alignment. Bert Ogden denied my request and stated the alignment issue was due to my driving. Based on Tipton Hyundai's findings, I believe Bert Ogden failed to properly inspect and repair my vehicle, resulting in continued mechanical issues, additional repairs, and unnecessary time away from work. I am requesting reimbursement for services that were not properly completed, reimbursement for defective replacement parts, compensation for the wages and time I lost due to repeated service visits, and an extended warranty to restore confidence in the reliability of my vehicle after the deficiencies in the prior repairs and inspection.
