I hope this is the last car I ever have to buy as I'm older but if I did have to buy another car, I would definitely go back to Burt Ogden Kia. My family has been buying cars from the Ogden dealerships even before Ogden had his own dealership back when he worked for the Cadillac company and I've always been happy with the service and the treatment I've gotten at Burt Ogden.

I gave Kia in Harlingen a1 star rating because I am so disappointed with the service I am receiving. I am Fleet manager for Sunny Glen Children homes and we took 2 Kia's for a recall over a month ago. I have yet to receive and updates and every time I call I keep getting told that it will be ready in a few days. According to your staff the parts are on its way but before I took them for service they had assured me that the parts were in. Just this morning I have called to the service depart 5 times and no one answer. I have also called the main Harlingen line to speak with an operator and it goes straight to voice mail. If anyone cares to speak to me my name is Ozzy Ramirez and I am the Fleet Manager for Sunny Glen Children Home in San Benito. After approximately two months, I was told the repairs had been completed and my vehicle was returned to me. Less than two months later, I took the vehicle to Tipton Hyundai of Brownsville because I was still experiencing transmission shifting issues, the alignment was noticeably off, and the replacement trim on my driver's door handle had already fallen off. Tipton Hyundai's inspection identified multiple issues that should have been repaired or discovered during a proper multipoint inspection. They found a severely worn and tearing belt causing the wobbling and noise I had reported, a broken replacement door handle trim piece, glue on the exhaust that was causing the burning smell, and an alignment that was significantly out of specification. They also advised that an underlying suspension or steering issue may be causing the alignment problem and should have been diagnosed because it will continue causing alignment issues until repaired. Before learning about these additional problems, I requested only a refund for the alignment. Bert Ogden denied my request and stated the alignment issue was due to my driving. Based on Tipton Hyundai's findings, I believe Bert Ogden failed to properly inspect and repair my vehicle, resulting in continued mechanical issues, additional repairs, and unnecessary time away from work. I am requesting reimbursement for services that were not properly completed, reimbursement for defective replacement parts, compensation for the wages and time I lost due to repeated service visits, and an extended warranty to restore confidence in the reliability of my vehicle after the deficiencies in the prior repairs and inspection.

Dropped it off at 2 PM and never received a single call, text, email, or portal update about my vehicle status or whether it would need to stay overnight. I had to call around 3:30 PM just to get a status update. Reyes told me the vehicle was in for recall service and that he would call when it was ready, but at no point was I informed that the recall work could require leaving the vehicle overnight. If that had been communicated upfront, I would've only approved the oil change and tire rotation and scheduled the recall for another day. I later spoke with Marlissa Longoria (Owner Loyalty Manager) and Jessica Morales (Customer Service Rep) after I physically stopped by the dealership to ask about my car, since I still had no clear communication. When I arrived, I was told all service advisors had already left for the day and I'd have to return the next morning. That is completely unacceptable. I refused to leave my vehicle overnight for a service visit that was scheduled and expected to be completed the same day. Frank Sanchez (General Sales Manager) was contacted, but I was told he didn't have access to the service key lock box and that the keys were likely secured and unavailable until the next morning. This is a serious breakdown in communication and basic customer service. There's no point in having a service portal, texts, or advisors if customers are left completely in the dark. If I could give zero stars, I would--but one is the lowest I can select to post this.
