!!!!!!!!!DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…read more I seriously cannot stress this strongly enough. My truck became stuck on a hill in a national forest ( my husband drove up from our campsite to get me after I had a medical issue while hiking). While driving back down the hill our vehicle slipped on muddy ground and lodged between a tree and a boulder. Shenandoah Tow was suggested by the company we originally contacted because Shenandoah was the closest company to the mountain. My husband called Chris who was initially very nice and asked to drive to the site to access the situation. After driving to see the truck we were quoted a price by Chris ( the owner ) and advised it could be done same day. This was at about 3pm. After not hearing from Chris by 6 we called to voice concern that the job wouldnt be completed before it was dark. Chris said they were getting ready to head back out and would call in a bit to let us know when we should head that way. At 8pm we still had not gotten a call so we called Chris again - this time to say we DID NOT want to do this and would call the next day to reschedule. At this point Chris said they were almost there and we should go ahead and leave. We drove 40 minutes to the site to find that they werent even there yet- though they were easily 20 minutes closer to the location that we were. They showed up about 15 minutes later. Chris took his team to the mountain at 9pm. -against our very clear wishes. He did not contact the park services- instead, he brought a bulldozer to drive THROUGH A NATIONAL FOREST indiscriminately causing damage to the environment. When I expressed my concerns over this he advised me that park services would charge us a '$5000 fine' for driving on the mountain road and he was doing us a favor by doing it this way. When they finally came back down the hill dragging our very large SUV behind them they then loaded the vehicle on a tow and took it away- because clearly, since he quoted us one price but decided to charge another we did not have the correct amount of cash to pay. He also decided he couldn't take our check. As we followed the tow out of the forest, the tow stopped at an intersection and all of the workers hoped out and began taking selfies of eachother in the street, with our truck, with eachother. We literally sat there in the car behind them with opur mouths open. It was completly unprofessional and just bizarre beyond words.

The Warren County police officers call this towing company if you ask them to help you get a tow…read moretruck after an accident!!!!! The owner of this place is a scammer! He tried to convince me and my mother it was $500 for a tow from front Royal to Winchester. and then refused to take my car off the tow truck without paying $500. We eventually gave in and had him tow my car to his lot in front Royal and when I called him to get the address he said it was still $500 even though he didn't even tow it to Winchester. Long story short my Family member decided to go get the car and tow it himself. We ended up paying $200 I'm not sure where the $500 estimate came from and why we were told that price he was very rude and tried to scam us! I was relieved when my car was no longer at his lot!
