Both things happened here. Instead of bisecting the molar, she just reefed with all of her might until it went kersnap. I went back a few days later with severe pain, and the nurse patronized me for not properly brushing the gingiva over the fractured jaw. Dr. Schuh proceeded to dig out all the fractured bone fragments without a nerve block, repacked, and sent me on my way -- no pain control, nothing I wouldn't trust these hacks to pull cadaver teeth. DO NOT get extractions here or risk what I went through!

First, I've only been going there for 1.5 months (4 visits)…read morewhen i went their first time, i was given a form for referrals and if referral came there you'd get a 50$ gift card.. nothing else as told to me as far as rules of gift cards. My first visit was very uncomfortable, the assistant didn't know how to take a blood pressure, so it hurt when she did it over and over again and when i simply asked her if she knew how to take them she got very offended and said yes we were trained.. i told her i could do it if she wanted.. from there on out every time i went in she had a horrible attitude towards me even tried to tell me once how i should take my antibiotics etc.. like seriously that's none of her business and it was a preventative. She is very very unprofessional, rude, and just not a good fit for working with ppl. After the first visit, i got a call that my gift card would be in the mail.. 2 weeks, no gift card. I called and then was told my husband/referral, needed to pay his bill first then I'd get it but after explaining, 1. I wasn't told anything about that, only that i would get the gift card for the referral 2. Our insurance covered everything so there was no bill 3. Then i was told they would have it for me my next visit. Next visit, the assistant was rude, and no gift card. Was told they were out and would get more on that Friday. Then i had an emergency tooth pain that i was dealing with for awhile and it got worse.. i went in to get it pulled, the assistant was overly nice so clearly she was talked to but her niceness was dramatic almost insulting. As Dr was trying to drill a hole in my tooth it caused a severe pain that radiated through my body and caused me to go into an anxiety attack (never happened before) which i jerked and Dr got irrated with me even tho it was a natural human response with such great pain. I ended up having to go to a oral surgeon that day to get it taken care of... and again NO gift card even though the office manager, Rachel promised me twice i would have it... i once again called and left a message about how disappointed i was and if they were going to make things right to please call me.. No call!! This is how they run their office.. UNPROFESSIONAL NO INTEGRITY NO ACCOUNTABILITY... i was looking forward to going here for a very long time and now i wish i never did!! The only ppl who were nice and professional was Stephanie and Julie. I would not recommend them after all the issues with them during my very short time going there.

It ran exactly as expected, our insurance was given a pre authorization and we paid what was expected as our portion. Awesome, this was like every other dental procedure we have ever had (7 kids, already been through 2 sets of wisdom tooth extractions). They did this or the extraction, a $700 procedure, we paid our portion and it was good. Fast forward almost a year later it was time for the implantation portion. Didn't think anything of it, we had a scan for the procedure a few months before the actual surgery, we were not told anything about billing, we assumed it was going to be handled like the 1st surgery. Boy were we wrong, when we got the office we were required to pay for the procedure IN FULL!! Even though we have dental insurance, not only do we have dental insurance but it's one of the best plans available! I actually called my insurance while I was waiting and was told that even they recommend submitting a preauthorization so there are no surprises, obviously this office just wants to take the money, collect interest on it until they have to refund it. Even the insurance company was as thrown by this shady business practice as I was. Needless to say with 4 girls coming up needing their wisdom teeth taken out, I can guarantee where we will NOT be coming!
