So, I made an appt with Honda to do the job since we were in town for 10 days we didn't need the car. $1200 later I get my car and we go about our lives. 4 months later the brakes start failing and squealing. Unsure why this is happening I start contacting Honda and had my shop in Colorado inspect it. Come to find out Honda never even installed the OEM Acura parts that I requested. They used some aftermarket brand from Auto Zone. My car cannot function with aftermarket parts hence I specifically requested Acura OEM to avoid any future issues. Now that we found the root of all this Sheridan Honda is trying to point fingers and refusing to take any responsibility for installing the cheaper brand when I asked for OEM. I never thought I'd have to question work from a Honda dealership not being done correctly. Unfortunately, Honda cut corners and used cheap parts and now I'm out $1200 they refuse to make this right. Aside from the review I have also contacted the BBB and reported the charge on my credit card. Candace and Kayla were both very rude and I willing to take any responsibility in this matter. Claiming "my recollection" is different than theirs. I highly recommend not using this shop if you want honest reliable work done in your vehicle.

I work here in the summer and down south in the winter so when my check engine light came on a month before needing to head south I was worried I would not make my deadline out of here. It was an issue that meant I shouldn't drive so I left my Ram at the dealership to hopefully be able to be fit in before the end of the month. All my research about this check engine code meant not good things and the tech even thought he'd have to tear completely into my transmission to diagnose the problem, but he kept poking around and found that it was a simple pressure valve that they had in stock! They were able to fix my pickup and get it back to me way before my deadline to head south! Also they have Rotella T6 in stock right now so I scheduled an appointment to get that changed tomorrow. I own a 2017 Chevy Silverado. I started having issues with the check engine light coming on…read moreconstantly. None of the systems in the diagnostic report were actually faulty. I took the truck to two Chevy dealerships multiple times over the course of two years. One dealership in town told me the cause was some dirty wires in a sensor. Not to worry they said because they cleaned them off and I was good to go. When I asked, "Isn't that what you said the issue was last week?" The week prior I was in that dealership for the check engine light issue. A different tech said the thin wires in that sensor was really dirty but they cleaned them. After the panicked look on his face and talking to the guy in the garage for about seven minutes, he came back and said that was what they did the week prior. Needless to say I haven't gone back to that dealership. When I took it to Sheridan Motors, they kept my truck for multiple days to research the issues. They identified some issues and tried fixing them. Finally they asked to keep my truck for "a while." Luckily I was in a position that I could swing that. They were finally able to track down the ghost in the electrical system. I realize all businesses have a set of people that love them and a set of people that hate them. I have had nothing but a positive experience with everyone at Sheridan Motors. Tim and Keri have been fantastic. They would call and update me when they discovered issues or solutions. They did reimburse cost related to travel , that's why I gave them an extra star. But that was after many many calls back and forth where they finally agreed. They should had made it right without hesitation knowing they were wrong but sales guy and manager treated me like another number. They should check the car completely knowing the customer has to drive the car back home to another state.
