Food courts closed and at 245 in afternoon the Cafe was closed until 430 p.m. we were way disappointed in the food and zero options. We left a day early and went to eureka casino and the food was amazing. Lots of options there. Casablanca has stepped up the room remodel but the food options really are not great at all. It was our 28th year anniversary and like I said we left a day early. As for the slots they were so so. Never saw any casino hosts at all entire time there. Going to try one more visit in October and see if they have more options or can fix the issues there. Very clean and nice rooms. Not all was bad. Just wanted a meal.

They had a nice driving range. Both the courses were beautiful with different tee elevations. They offered picturesque views with perfect photo opportunities. The courses were in perfect shape with green fairways and greens that rolled true. Even though our first two days were not perfect weather-wise, we did our best and had fun. That's why we were here, for the camaraderie and to have fun with a little competition in between. One of the benefits of playing here with a fairly large group was; the golf course offered to keep the golf bags on the carts for the next day play. That was awesome and nice of them! So no loading and unloading of the bags to and from our vehicles then up and down the stairs to and from our rooms. That's was a big plus! The entire staff were very professional and accommodating! I tipped them well and I sure hope the rest of the guys did the same!

I keep coming back because all things considered, it's a great value and I really appreciate that every room is non-smoking. I've stayed at all of the casino hotels in the area and even in a non-smoking room, I can still smell the smoke. Both my son and myself have asthma so we try to avoid triggers like the smell of smoke as much as we can! Things to note when you stay here: Free laundry room! (You need to provide your own detergent/dryer sheets) Two large pools and a large jacuzzi open until 10pm which is a huge plus! Free wifi Free Gym Attached restaurant (however currently reservations are required). Walking distance to virgin river and eureka casinos. Nice hilltop location with beautiful views! Typically very reasonably priced!

This time, I decided to stay at Mesquite, NV which is about 40 miles south of St. George or about 80 miles north of Las Vegas. Hotwire led me here as I like surprise:XD Upon walking in the lobby, my first impression was...is this the retirement home!? the interior has that old fashioned style, wide hallway with tiles instead carpet on the first floor, a library...etc I got suite #210, which is exactly like a one bedroom apartment with full sized kitchen, dining table, living room, bed room, walking in closet and a full sized bath. It's spacious! I assume this property was designed for assistant living and later changed to a hotel. It's freaking hot in Mesquite, NV even after the sun goes down. The air was still hot like inside the oven. The ac worked really well and of course this place is very quiet. The next morning, after checking out, I was on the way heading home. While pulling onto the 15 freeway I all the sudden remembered I left my charging cable in the room! Drove back from the next freeway exit, I told the front desk lady and she immediately made me a key to go up to the room to retrieve my cable. When I got there, the housekeeper was already outside and handed me my cable. If you are not looking for anything fancy, modern and elaborate, this is a good place! For clean, classic and awesome rate, I can see myself coming back for another good night sleep:) P.s there's no charging port on the bedside table, I had to unplug the alarm clock and that's how I forgot my cable :XD

After we checked in and got to the room, I realized that I had made a mistake in the booking of the room. There was no way my husband was going to be able to get his scooter into the room. I went to the front desk and explained to Lisa the problem and she was like "not a problem" and moved us to a handicap room that was Perfect for our needs. Thank You, Lisa, for listening and understanding. The hotel is pretty inside and out. The breakfast was very nice. There was waffle makers, hot oatmeal, eggs, yogurt, toast, bagels, sausage, juice, coffee just to name a few. :) There is a doggie relief area right out front with pick up bags and trash. It is not fenced though. The ONLY thing that I was NOT happy with is that they have two pride flags on the front desk. I found that very distasteful! The AMERICAN FLAG should Aways be displaced first! When I ask about why ~ I was told that because Jun is pride month. EVERY DAY IS AMERICAN FLAG DAY! Don't put one group over AMERICA'S, Vets, Service members that have paid the ultimate price for The American Flag! With that said ~ That is the reason that I did not rate my experience with 5 stars.

This place checked all three boxes. The room was no-frills, but clean and comfortable. The TV was on the smaller side, but it worked fine, and the A/C absolutely cranked, which is a huge plus in Mesquite. Ice machines were easy to access, and parking was plentiful, with plenty of overflow parking available if needed. There was also a poolside bar, which looked like a nice place to relax. I didn't eat there during my one-night stay, but several people told me the food was decent. Overall, I can't think of any reason I wouldn't stay here again when visiting Mesquite. If you're looking for an affordable place that's clean, comfortable, and does the basics well, the Virgin River is a solid choice.

It was thick and moist. The eggs were perfectly cooked over-medium and the hash browns were crispy on the outside and soft on the underside. It also came with choice of bread and I chose sourdough toast. The bread appeared fresh as it was toasted on the outside and soft on the inside. I also had a nice cup of hot black coffee. Our servers throughout our visits were top notch as they were friendly and joked with us; especially once we became regulars. During another breakfast, I ordered their Loco Moco! I figured that would definitely sustain me throughout my golf round. Man, it was quite a disappointment! Not because of flavor, but the size of the burger patty was the smallest I ever had on a Loco Moco. Obviously whoever made up the menu never had a legit Loco Moco. If they read this; I hope they increase the size of the meat patty. We also came here for their All You Can Eat Seafood (crab legs and shrimp). You can't beat the price of $29.99. The seafood was so good. Its all I ate! No meat! They had it, but I was there for the seafood. I ate both hot and cold crab legs, fresh peel and eat shrimp, steamed clams and mussels, fried shrimp, and seafood medley. They were all delicious. In fact, the fried shrimp were the best I ever had, period. They were lightly crispy and the shrimp were plump and tender. They were perfect! Needless to say, I was extremely satisfied! One night, I decided to accompany one of the guys I was rooming with to come here and gamble. I sat at one of the Roulette tables and bought a hundred dollars worth of chips. I placed my bets and I won on the very first bets. I kept winning and winning, doubling my bets and winning. It seemed like I couldn't lose. I'm going to be completely honest and straightforward here, I liked Eureka MUCH better than Casablanca, where we stopped at heading towards Utah. Compared to Casablanca, Eureka looks a lot newer and they have a lot more options and stuff to do. I had read after our trip that Eureka had gone under renovations about two years ago and they plan to build more retail stuff around it in the future. They have endless slot machines inside and they have a pretty big sportsbook, although I've seen bigger before. I did consider playing one of the slot machines since I had cash on me, but I didn't go for it. Being a Vegas local that has been inside so many casinos, I don't gamble or play slot machines all that much. Going forward, if we ever take another road trip to Utah, Eureka will be our permanent stop.

The front window was broken, the lamp by the bed had to be fiddled with a lot just to get it to work. The worst part, which I find completely unforgivable, was that the disgusting shower that I was desperate enough to even try to use, had zero hot water. It wasn't like "oh, this water is kind of cold, that sucks ", it was obvious that the hot water to the shower was not even hooked up. I ran it for ten minutes and nothing. Only ice cold water. The sink water warmed up after about five minutes, but the shower got nothing. I stayed here 2/24/2017. The place is a dump, and shouldn't even be in business. If you read this and decide to stay here anyway, I feel very sorry for you. You can understand why the sign saying NO REFUNDS is so prominently displayed where you check in. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!
