Chicken satay skewers Feta and beet salad…read more Poutine small side Kids grilled cheese and side Caesar salad. Annika was our server. She was super friendly and. Very attentive. She checked on us often and was very personable . I recommend requesting her. The satay skewers were kind of bland. The fries in the poutine were cold. Overall. the indoor dining was super busy, and pretty loud with everyone talking in a small space. There were lots of TVs on with no sound. Then, they turned the hockey game sound on. The General Manger came by and was extremely friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the incredible lake and Mountain Views from the dining area.

The service was welcoming at first. However, I visited just recently and had a rather awkward and peculiar customer service experience. There was a group ahead of me waiting to be seated. I was a group of one and had been waiting for several minutes to be addressed. I passed through the group to speak with the hostess to avoid any confusion that I was with them and make my presence known. Was not greeted. Was instead told in a scolding sort of tone that they were helping the other group as though I was in the wrong coming forward to speak with them. This dynamic continued throughout the whole maybe hour I was there. Literally sat waiting at my table for service for 20 mins wondering where my server was. Was a polite guest that was basically treated like an alien. Whatever happened to making the guest feel welcome? Maybe wait a bit before visiting here. Let them go through a staff change and get rid of these sociopaths they currently have representing their establishment.

It took us a while to be seated although there was a lot of room. The manager seemed overwhelmed and was flying around. When I asked him what he liked on the menu he answered eggs, which is fun because eggs weren't even on the menu. Food came out slowly and servers were fine i just think they could have used a few more. my husband had a burger with fries and i had the falafel wrap with Caesar salad. Hubby was appreciative of the burger and said that it was "fine". My falafel wrap was excellent. The falafel itself were a little mushy on the inside but flavourful. The sauces and the home made pickles made an extrodinary combo. Totally reccomend this dish. The Caesar salad was lightly dressed, fresh and crunchy. A fantastic lunch. Come here for the view. Stay for the food.

However our meal was not one of the first served as some of our food was missed delivered to another table. I didn't feel that the bread and butter was outstanding for the price as it was over toasted. We did like our main course choices as all of us cleaned our plates. The view was outstanding as we were able to see both mountain and river. Expect the cost to be higher because of the location and the view versus just the food itself. Well we enjoyed our meal we did find that we enjoyed other places that cost a little less more while on our trip. Also our service was not bad but our server did enjoy chatting with other tables which might have led to some of the delay of our food being bright as we were in the restaurant for approximately 90 minutes total time from sit down to paying our bill.

There was only one other table occupied on a Saturday night although there was a steady stream of take out taking place. If you are in a rush to eat, this is not the place to go as our won ton soup took close to 40 mins to arrive. That being said, when the main dishes arrived, the food was outstanding and the portions were enormous, A very pleasant surprise. The scallops in black bean sauce dish was incredible with a generous amount of huge scallops. The owners pride themselves on the quality of food and won't rush a good thing. For a restaurant that's good value for money, this is an excellent choice.

We got one combo with chicken fried rice and the other with chow mein; both were tasty and fresh. The shrimp, spareribs, and squid were all well-seasoned and tasty. I wanted to like the chicken balls, as a Canadian Chinese specialty, but they were a bit bland and mushy. The beef with mixed vegetables was OK, but we ordered it twice as the only available option with vegetables. Overall, the taste of the dishes are pretty good and the value for money is phenomenal, but I wish they would do more vegetables and less deep-fried items for balance.

This is the roasterie as well as a cafe. The decor is very similar to its coffee package - very black and very sleek. I arrived in the middle of the day and there was a line up with probably 15 people ahead of me. It was busy! I scanned the menu and decided on just a coffee while my hubby got a cold brew. We both enjoyed our drinks very much and loved the atmosphere. The workers there were clearly very passionate about the coffee. The cafe also had a lot of random knick knacks for sale including mugs, shirts, toques and chocolate. We went back the next morning. Still 15+ people in line! I'm saying this is the place to be in Invermere. I had a mocha and my hubby tried the other cold brew. Both delicious. This is a gem in Invermere and a must-visit for a coffee lover.

The inside is just lovely... so well organized and decorated... and efficient. They have some lovely nibbles (which we sadly did not partake in) to choose from. The coffee is very tasty. Husband got the drip... light roast. I got an iced vanilla latte with coconut milk. (Their alternative milks - which are not listed on the menu board - are coconut milk and oat milk.) My latte was strong and tasty! Had me buzzing a bit and probably was not a good idea to then sit for about 2 hours in the car as I was hopped up like a spider monkey once we got out of the car in Banff. hahaha!
