It had very good polled pork and very good brisket, would recommend The baked beans and the colesla.

Stopped in while driving around Columbia Valley. Checked Yelp and saw they had good reviews. Located right off highway 93. Private parking area (gravel). Large eating area outside with picnic tables. Walked in a was greeted by a friendly gal. She was very helpful as it was our first visit. She even went over the sauces with us and gave recommendations. Decent sized indoor seating area. About 6 tables ranging from 4-6 chairs each. Two gender neutral restrooms available off the indoor dining area. We ordered the Mac Daddy sandwich and a single plate with smoked turkey and mac & cheese. The single came with a vinaigrette coleslaw as well, but I'm not a vinegar fan so I gave it to my husband. He didn't seem to care for it either. Said it would taste better on a pulled pork sandwich. Other than the coleslaw all other food was absolutely delicious! Only wish they offered some sort of dessert as well, but didn't see anything listed on their menu. Prices were reasonable. We had two meals and a 16 oz beer for $40 with tip. Not bad at all for BBQ! Would highly recommend. read more

Always looking to eat some BBQ. Smoker was in full effect on our arrival. They burn hickory & cherry here. Easily one of the best 2-3 meals we had while on our recent two week BC/Alberta road trip. The proteins offered differ a bit from many spots as they have both chicken and turkey. The meats are available on a bun, by the pound, or on a platter. They will even sell you a single pork rib. Our visit was complicated just slightly as they were out of both poultry meats-like most good BBQ spots, once it's gone it's gone. The counter staff was very helpful and understanding as we worked to put together a sampler platter without the missing meats. The assortment finally came to brisket, pulled pork, and pork ribs with a little extra to fill the gaps. We passed on the chorizo as we are not good with spicy food. Also came with slaw and our choice of side, potato salad. I will say right off the bat that the homemade potato salad was really delicious. Highly recommended. Also offer chili, mac & cheese, beans and a kale caesar salad. Slaw was typical vinegar dressed. The pork ribs we received had a good, smoky flavor profile but were less moist than we like-a bit on the dry side. Pulled pork was very well rendered, being much less greasy than most. But without a little sauce we felt it was not really very flavorful. They offer four sauces here, three spicy and one sweet. The brisket was the stand out. Clearly visible smoke ring, moist, great flavor. Went really nicely with the sweet sauce. Only small issue was that it was sliced quite thick-thinner is better. This platter would be more than enough to feed two, especially if you added a larger size side, as we had leftovers. We left today very happy with our choice. Wish I had remembered to take some photos. If your hungry anywhere near Invermere, we highly recommend Smokehouse 93. read more

Got the individual sampler and it was amazing! Love that the meat is not smothered is sauce so I can taste the actually smoke and natural meat flavours. Super tender and absolutely delicious! read more

Smokehouse 93 - Individual sampler - Barbeque Near Me - Invermere, British Columbia

Disappointing in every way! Arrived at 5:30pm on a Sat, there were only two meat selections left to choose from. No potato salad. The Mac n cheese that the cashier recommended was dreadful! It was cold, bland overcooked pasta without even a hint of cheesy flavor at all. It was pasty goo in a bowl. All 6 of us took a taste and agreed it sucked "big" time, just awful! The beans in the baked beans were undercooked and contained red peppers which threw the taste completely off. The cornbread was dry. The coleslaw had so much vinegar, it was only edible when paired with the meat. The only redeeming thing about our experience was the brisket. Unfortunately, it's not enough to make us ever return. Dirty tables & bathrooms. read more

We traveled to the Fairmont Hot Springs area during off season and thank God this place was good because it was the only place open. We were referred here by the locals. The first time we drove from Fairmont Hot Springs to Invermere, it was just closing for a few days. The second time we ventured out, it was closed. We hit the jackpot on the third time. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM. The menu is short and simple. For CAN $10, we had the Thursday night pulled pork barbeque sandwich special that included a soft drink. It was very tasty. I especially liked the barbeque sauce. I could have eaten one more sandwich, but controlled my appetite We ate in the dining area. It was clean and very country. ..Country music was piped in. Murals on the walls were interesting. Check out my photos. We were a little confused by where to park. I think we parked in the wrong place, but there weren't any other people because the Poutine trailer was closed. The washroom was unique. See my picture of the sink. There was even a high chair that must have been from the 60's. Service was fast and courteous. The prices were reasonable and the food was good. If we come to this area in the future, we will be sure to stop by again. read more

Excellent BBQ! Loved everything. Super fast counter service and friendly staff. Dining area was very comfortable and clean.

Huge portions of BBQ meat on their sandwiches. I got the pulled pork with a small side of chili. Stuffed.

Food was very good. Had brisket platter and pulled pork platter with maple baked beans and slaw with a side of jalapeño cornbread. Enjoyed our meal. read more

Fantastic find! We were driving through to Radium Hot Springs and found this gem on our way. Decided to have supper there tonight and wow! What a fantastic place! Amazing food! The sauces were to die for, we ended up buying a bottle of the hot and sweet Crossroads. Decided to go with the sampler and added a side of curly fries. It was more than generous! I took videos (but no photos) so I took screenshots instead. Yelp app wouldn't allow me to share the videos! But you gotta go check them out! read more

I'd give 5 stars for customer service-everyone we had contact with was amazing. We were hosting a casual dinner for 10 people and ordered ribs and cornbread (the cornbread was incredible). Spent $450 but the ribs were incredibly dry and there wasn't much meat on them. We're up here all summer and were hoping to have this place as a go-to for entertaining. read more

The brisket was so delicious. The smoke ring was perfect and it had so much flavor. I also had the cornbread with jalepeno and cheddar. I shared it with my family and we all loved it. The mac and cheese was so yummy. We all really loved the food. It was fun to have so many sauce choices but they were all pretty sweet. Something more tangy and less sweet would've been more my style but that's just preference. The seating options were nice. The bathrooms and the indoor seating were very clean. Great location. read more

Wow, fantastic bbq and sides! While in Invermere or passing through stop in! Won't regret it!

The food was so good. I'm completely in love with the jalapeño cheddar corn bread. The pulled pork sandwich basically melted in my mouth. Really great atmosphere, and the music was bang on. read more

If you are looking for good tasting BBQ, this is not the place. If this is the only restaurant in town, sounds like you are willing to roll the dice. As far as the BBQ, it was very fatty bringing down the value of the meal. The restaurant had several sauces, none of which were enjoyable/authentic. read more

The food is fantastic! And even during Covid it's super safe to dine in. I bought sauces for my daughter for Christmas and she just loved them! One of the few restaurants that was open up during the off-season. Thank gosh it was open. It was our favourite meal in the valley! Portions are generous and service is really really good. read more

My family and I visited this restaurant this past weekend, July 20, 2024, around 4pm. Right away we felt very unwelcome by the staff, specifically the male cashier. All of our questions about the food were answered with a lot of impatience, rudeness and disgust. We kept having to constantly repeat ourselves as the staff constantly walked away. Our bill was quite high for a dinner for two adults and two kids. We really just wanted to finish our meal and leave. Definitely will not be returning. read more

Ordered a bunch of stuff, from brisket to ribs to pulled pork, and burnt ends. The burnt ends were the best, for sure. Tasty and fatty. The brisket was, for me, too lean and not smokey enough. The pulled pork and ribs also lacked smoke, although still good. Mac & Cheese is good. Beans and coleslaw OK. Overall, not a bad spot and a good takeout choice. read more

A great find. Our group of 4 pretty much tried all of the meats and the Mac & Cheese plus coleslaw. Mouthwatering. All of it. Special props for the burnt ends. We enjoyed it so much we returned a couple of days later for breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches were outstanding! Only regret is I only visit the area once a year for a golf week. Rest assured we will keep coming back again again. read more

Great blues music. I loved the chicken sandwich. Friendly folks behind the counter. Nice roadhouse stop.

The sampler meat plate was delicious. The service quick and friendly. I would have enjoyed western music. You will enjoy this place

Ate here last night. Loved the pork ribs and jalapeño corn bread. I hated the beer I picked (honey ale) and the cook felt bad they couldn't refund the beer $ and brought us out a small container of burnt ends which were to die for. Worth going back for. My husband had the brisket and smoked macaroni. Both good. Definitely worth the stop. read more

Really disappointing in terms of the value proposition. The barbecued beef is as expected - nothing spectacular but meets the requirement for barbeque beef. (Think thicker/less quantity than Arby's). However Smokehouse 93 is extremely expensive for what you get: $30 for bbq beef on a bun, which didn't seem too expensive as the reader board said it came with coleslaw and baked beans. Not true: this is a beef sandwich. The coleslaw and cut baked beans are used as condiments and are spread very lightly on the barbecued beef. I won't be returning and suggest you save your money goes somewhere else. There's lots of good places to go in the valley so we won't be going back but the ice cream place next-door is fantastic. read more

If you're reading this review in search of trying to decide where to eat . . . Do yourself a favor, stop looking and go eat here! Simple as that. This place is unbelievably delicious. From the potato salad, corn bread, coleslaw, homemade sauces, and the meats! Wow... just wow! Also, the staff was stellar to top it off! read more

The sides were amazing but the meat it's self was just ok. Very pricey for what you get. And I know this is out of their control but they didn't have burnt ends which was a big disappointment. They also scream out the name for each order which was pretty disruptive to our dining experience. read more

Incredibly delicious, good sized portions, left feeling more full than I wanted to because I couldn't stop eating it! We had the brisket, potato salad, coleslaw. Soooo goood! read more

The ribs were absolutely amazing - flavorful, tender and no sauce required. Beautiful smoke ring. They were well seasoned but not sloppy. The vinaigrette coleslaw was delicious. The smoked Turkey and the curly fries were also well done. I'd highly recommend Smokehouse 93 if you're in the area or even just passing through. read more

Really awesome ribs and smoked beef. Was trying to get the burnt ends but each time we went they were always sold out. Will have to try these next time. Also the bacon mac n cheese is fantastic. read more

We ordered ahead and were very pleased with our meal and the service. We smoke our own brisket at home so feel like we can say with some authority that the beef was really good. I reheated it in the oven with a little water to make sure it didn't dry out and it was perfect. Very, very tender. We asked for the "hot" bbq sauce . It was spicy without being overpowering. The beans and corn bread were perfect. Great flavour and the bread was nice and moist. So glad we tried your restaurant. Enjoyed every bite! MJ read more

We just enjoyed a delicious meal from Smokehouse 93 after hiking Mt Swansea. What a wonderful treat. We ordered samplers with extra cornbread.
