Her tone and demeanor could use some work. She was young but spoke to people like they were beneath her, my fiance even said she was pretty rude and snippy in the back. To myself she literally ordered me around the second she started wheeling him out. I work in the medical field myself and I would never talk to patients or family members the way she did to me. I kept my mouth shut and allowed her to continue with her orders, but I really hope management gets to see this and gives her some constructive criticism. Just because you wear scrubs, does not give you the ok to talk down to people or be short and abrupt speaking to patients, we all understand being busy or overwhelmed, but that is your job to be professional, polite and caring.

Dr Schneider didn't talk to me much, which seemed odd for being a new patient, but the work was done quickly (under anesthesia no less) and the outcome was with little pain. I had heard horror stories about wisdom teeth extraction, but Dr Schneider and his team did great work and will be returning if needed for any future tooth issues.

She also kept cutting me off when I spoke and repeating herself that "prices are not known until you see a provider." Well, that is a terrible way to run a clinic. Prices for services should be easy to find on a website. As an office manager, she should have known exactly where all that information is located. When I thought I needed a root canal I went to my endodontist (Dr. Matloff - GREATEST guy and Endo) and he said... might want to lose the tooth. NOT an exciting thought but.... I got hold of my regular dentist (Dr. Dovgan - another great Doc) and got vote #2... lose it. They recommended Dr. Goldenstein. They got me in quick in a day for an eval appt. and he spent a lot of time explaining things, options, good and bad possibilities, situations, procedures etc etc. It was reassuring to hear good, realistic info from someone that's been doing it so long. I made it back for the extraction nervous as a cat on meth and while I had trust... I don't like being asleep and out of control while people "do things" but.... woke up, wobbled to the recovery room and got my ride home. Followed my instructions, then Dr. Goldenstein personally called that evening to follow up. I was beat but went to bed - THE BEST SLEEP I'd had in months. Woke up refreshed, no bleeding, no swelling, no pain... felt great. Not sure if I can relate previous neck and shoulder pain to my tooth situation but... that night and following... GONE. By the way The bottom line, great personalized care backed with experience and an office staff that was efficient and caring as well. I guess we all have an apprehension about medical procedures and in some part it's the doctor's responsibility to address the problem and put people at ease for things we know knowing about. He did that as well as following through with a painless, needed procedure. And as a general thought - make a note: All dentists, whether they are generalists or specialists, spend upwards of 7 or 8 years in college and dental college earning a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery). BUT... An oral surgeon, though, spends an additional 4 to 6 years of in-training after dental school, mostly in a hospital-based surgical environment. Dr. Goldenstein is a great oral surgeon. Not anxious to have any more teeth pulled but if it comes up... there's only one person I'd go to and recommend for the adventure. I was recommended to this place by my orthodontist, after he viewed my X-ray of my teeth. I had an…read moreextra tooth that was forming next to an already adult tooth and was informed if it wasn't removed it could possibly damage the already present tooth. Obviously didn't want that happening, so I scheduled an appointment for a consultation. Dr. Johnson viewed the X-ray and I set up an date for the operation. I have had extra teeth removed before when I was younger, and they were all painful during the healing process. However, after the operation with Dr. Johnson I only took two Advils plus the antibiotics that he prescribed. The stitches were clean and minimal, which helped during the healing process. Before the surgery took place, they scheduled a follow-up appointment a week out. My stitches were supposed to dissolve away after a week, but they choose not to, so I had a couple of them removed. Over all, great place to get oral surgery. Dr. Johnson and his staff go above and beyond than other places I have been to.

I would not recommend this dentist office. I had previously been to another dentist and a…read moreperiodontist for pain and redness in my gums. Both had suggested that perhaps I had developed a metal allergy but didn't know who to send me to get tested so I contacted Whole Health. Dr Sofia also agreed that could be the problem. First course of action was a saliva test and then labs were ordered through Vibrant Labs in CA. The test was 520 dollars and it took me almost a year to save up to get the test . At no time did anyone mention that it was also going to cost me another 200 dollars to have someone go over the results with me . Anyway I did the test . I was notified that the dentist had received my results on Jan .19th . (Monday) By Friday the 23rd I still had not heard anything from the dentist office so I left a message . By Monday the 26 I still had not heard from the dentist so I left another message . By Wed the 28th I still had not heard from the dentist so I looked up the Facebook page and message Dr Loud through email. That's when I finally got a text saying Dr Loud was not my dentist but that they would make an appt with Dr Sofia to go over my results and that would be Feb 13. Then a week later they called me and said she didn't want to go over results with me but wanted me to talk to a practitioner and she would contact me. I got an appt with her for Feb 16th . That was yesterday and come to find out the test didn't even test for metal allergies (which is the only reason I did it) . I am beyond upset about this . Not only do I feel like no one cares but no one answers the phone or returns calls so there is no point in trying to do that . Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place , unless you want to be angry and you want to waste your money
