I've had multiple treatments with him, and will never go anywhere else. During the consultation for the first treatment I had, I overheard another patient saying that they actually flew across the country just to see Dr. Broumand. That level of trust and loyalty from a previous patient speaks volumes about the positive experience that patient must have had. When I had an implant under sedation, everything was absolutely seamless. He explained the treatment well, and I had no complications from the anesthesia. I felt great by later that day. Everyone in his office genuinely cares about you, and they're extremely personable. They follow up to make sure you're okay, and happily answer any questions. I had another lighter procedure with local sedation while I was awake, and quickly found out why all of the staff at Desert Ridge Oral Surgery are always so happy. The incredible communication and seamless teamwork between Dr. Broumand and his assistants made me feel like I was in great hands for the entire procedure. I was truly able to relax. I cannot recommend them enough. Their office is truly incredible, and I am so grateful for the experience I have had with them.

I recently visited Dr. Broumand for a dental procedure and I must say, while the quality of service…read moreprovided was satisfactory, I am quite disappointed with the pricing aspect of my experience. As a patient who values fair pricing, I feel that I was significantly overcharged for a service. Specifically, I was charged over $400o for a tooth extraction. When I called to ask about the approximate price prior to the appointment, I was told I could not be given even an estimate until I was in the chair. We were leaving town soon and I was in a lot of pain, and I couldn't get in anywhere else. Once I was in the chair I and was told that my dental insurance would not cover this procedure. When they showed me the quote, I wrongly assumed that this is just what it must cost at other practices, I would have thought dental surgeons charge roughly the same amount. (As stated before, I was in pain and not in a place to visit more surgeons for quotes.) After the procedure, I was still shocked at the cost. I called around to other offices to get exact pricing. I found out I paid OVER THREE times what at least 3 other dental surgeons would have charged me. (Even my insurer, Delta Dental, was shocked at what I was charged, but said there was nothing they could do.) I did try to discuss this concern directly with Dr.Broumand and his office staff. While at my check up appointment, I did mention to Dr. Broumand that what I was charged was a considerable amount of my income and that other practices would not have charged me even half as much. He stated that visiting him was like going to Nordstroms and that going to the other practices I mentioned were like going to Kmart. He then did tell me that he understood and wanted to take care of people like me, an educator. However, after weeks of waiting and phone calls back and forth, I found out that they weren't going to grant any adjustment to the price. I am very disappointed that he said he would help in person, but then his office manager said he wasn't going to adjust the pricing at all. I understand that dental care can be complex and costs may vary, but the lack of fair pricing left me feeling uneasy. As a patient, I want to trust that my Dentist is not gauging me when I am already in pain. I urge the practice to reconsider its pricing strategy for people who might not have certain procedures covered by their dental plan. There is messaging all over the office about him being the oral surgeon for the suns and diamondbacks. Somehow, I couldn't help but feel that I, as an educator, paid considerably more than these professional athletes would ever have to pay. I genuinely hope that Dr. Broumand takes this feedback constructively, and will not further gouge people whose insurance might not cover a procedure. In the end, I feel taken advantage of, having to pay way more than another patient, just because my dental plan didn't cover this procedure and I picked the wrong place to go. I would like to note again that I did try to make my concerns known to both the office manager and dentist before being so unsatisfied to then compile this review. As a patient, I believe that fair pricing is essential in a positive healthcare experience, and I hope to see positive changes in this aspect in the future.

Dr. Eniko Loud is one of the most thorough and knowledgeable dentists I've ever been to hands down…read moreand to find someone like that who is a conventional dentist fully trained BUT also is a functional medicine practitioner AND a holistic dentist is pretty much impossible to find! She has the latest technology for everything and she is able to do scans and investigate beyond your teeth and up into your face and head and neck with the technology that she uses so you can actually find completely hidden infections or damage that normally cannot be seen by a regular dental exam or x-rays. She was able to find a chip in one of my upper vertebrae that I sustained from a car accident in the past as well as a hidden infection above one of my teeth in my sinus area that nobody else had spotted from an old filling that had been replaced incorrectly by a prior dentist. It wasn't even bothering me but there it was on the scan. I would have NEVER found out otherwise! If you have hidden infections or damage from an old filling or even hidden metal that you can't see with the naked eye, there is no other dentist that could find that other than Dr. Loud. She knows how to remove and correct these things safely and with your health at the forefront and uses safe and proper methods to remove metal fillings. Most dentists don't even protect your body when they remove metal fillings and all of that mercury gets released into your body causing damage that can continue on for years. She also knows the connection between your teeth and your organs. Did you know that every tooth connects to a different organ, gland or tissue in your body and she has a chart that can show you which teeth connect to the different parts of your body because a problem in a tooth can be causing totally different symptoms somewhere else in your body! I am a naturopathic practitioner myself and I send all of my patients to her. Every single one of them has been blown away by their experience with her. If you want to be sure your teeth are being handled in the best way for your overall health, there is no other dentist to see. She is the whole package! I would never see anyone else now that I've been lucky enough to find her.

Both had suggested that perhaps I had developed a metal allergy but didn't know who to send me to get tested so I contacted Whole Health. Dr Sofia also agreed that could be the problem. First course of action was a saliva test and then labs were ordered through Vibrant Labs in CA. The test was 520 dollars and it took me almost a year to save up to get the test . At no time did anyone mention that it was also going to cost me another 200 dollars to have someone go over the results with me . Anyway I did the test . I was notified that the dentist had received my results on Jan .19th . (Monday) By Friday the 23rd I still had not heard anything from the dentist office so I left a message . By Monday the 26 I still had not heard from the dentist so I left another message . By Wed the 28th I still had not heard from the dentist so I looked up the Facebook page and message Dr Loud through email. That's when I finally got a text saying Dr Loud was not my dentist but that they would make an appt with Dr Sofia to go over my results and that would be Feb 13. Then a week later they called me and said she didn't want to go over results with me but wanted me to talk to a practitioner and she would contact me. I got an appt with her for Feb 16th . That was yesterday and come to find out the test didn't even test for metal allergies (which is the only reason I did it) . I am beyond upset about this . Not only do I feel like no one cares but no one answers the phone or returns calls so there is no point in trying to do that . Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place , unless you want to be angry and you want to waste your money

I probably have one of the VERY worst dental phobias you can imagine from bad childhood early adult dentist experiences. Im talking trembling , shaking uncontrollably , sweating to the point my glasses would fog up , nausea , heart pounding fear . And that lead to a lot of years of neglect on my part. Ive had a dentist use the max amount of shots to numb me and look me in my face like i was crazy and tell me "sorry I cant give you any more" when I tried to tell them I could still feel it , not a little bit, like fully feel it . Dr. Rabot was the FIRST of many to actually take the time and hear me. Right off the bat he explained that he would try a different technique that required an injection into the back of my jaw and that it would not be the most pleasant but it should do the trick. When I tell you this man did extractions and implants with less pain that ive had for a cavity/root canal/ simple extraction. The whole time talking me thru what he was doing , making sure I was ok and comfortable the entire time. His chairside manor is incredible and he just has a very calming and assuring way about him . 2nd Dr. Rabot has given me several implants and a few weeks into the 3rd one it had failed (it happens) . And it was CHRISTMAS morning , I texted Dr. Rabot early in the morning and sent him a video of me wiggiling my implant with my tounge. His response ? "I can be at the office in 30 minutes , or would you be more comfortable in the hospital setting because we can go there too". ON CHRISTMAS MORNING !! I am not a fan of hospitals so I went with the office. 30 min and he had me in the chair , numbed up , implant out and bone grafting done , 3-4 months later new implant and back in buisness (2nd attempt did not fail ) 3rd EVERY SINGLE TIME he has done any surgery on my HE calls me to check up on me. Not an assistant. 4th he has never made me feel stupid for my insane phobia , only been supportive and understanding. 5th VERY VERY clean office VERY kind staff . I DO not give out 5 star reviews easy . But this one is so deserved . He is a master at his craft and knows and cares very much about the work he does and that shows To the person who complained about having to wait while he ordered his food on vacation in another country .... poor you !!! You had to wait a couple minutes ....... it would have been so much better if you were sent to an after hours answering service or a voicemail right ? Cause thats what most Docs will do. Im not sure what other option he could have provided to you for immidiate help other than hospital . He was out of the country, the fact he answered the call at all shows you exactly the kind of Dr he is . The kind that always puts his patients first.

"I know that your tooth was knocked out when the metal end of a dog lease hit you in the face, but everyone else probably thinks you're a meth head." Harsh words. I hope that most people are not that judgmental, but I am socially handicapped by my freakish empathy, unable in many cases to see the bad in people, even after I have been harmed by them. Besides, I do not enjoy having a jarring hole in my face where my front tooth should be. I have noticed the recoil on people's faces when I forget to cover my smile with my hand or to not smile no matter what. So I readily agreed to find a dentist to fix things and give the name and number to my daughter. She had figured the cost of fixing my teeth into her wedding budget. (Although I felt such shame and guilt that not only could I not pay for my daughter's wedding but she had to pay to make me presentable enough to attend, I also felt the love she demonstrated in her offer.) Now, I have zero patience for things like researching dentists. So on the last possible day to submit contact information, I randomly chose ProSmile Dental Implant Center from online listings. Not only am I an empath, but apparently I am also psychic, for my random pick turned out to have chosen the best dentist possible!! Besides the cosmetic repair, I also needed the dentist to clear me to have a knee surgery. Sounds unrelated, I agree. But the anesthesiologist doesn't want you to die in their care, and dying during anesthesia is more possible if you have any infection in your teeth. I had been afraid to see a dentist because I cannot take any pain medication. I had last had a tooth pulled in the 1990s, and I remember the hurt. I avoided the dentist for more than a decade. And that's why, before I could get a bridge, I needed 7-SEVEN!- teeth pulled due to infection. I had a consultation first, during which I was happy to discover that all the staff were very nice. But I have experienced this first visit kindness at other dental offices, only to discover that I am treated not so well next time I am there. So I was wary. I went to my appointment like a lamb to slaughter. I was treated very well prior to inhaling the knock out vapor by everyone who works there. When I woke up, of course I was still numb where my teeth had been removed, and my mouth was filled with stitches. I was absolutely dreading the moment that the novacaine would wear off. And here is the entire reason I wrote this wordy essay: Despite avoiding the dentist for years due to fear of pain, despite everyone warning me that I would be super uncomfortable and have bruises on my face, despite being so scared prior to the surgery tears rolled down my cheeks, in the days after I had SEVEN teeth pulled from my gums, I HAD ABSOLUTELY NOT A SECOND, NOT EVEN A TWINGE, OF PAIN. Read that again: I had NO PAIN after getting 7 teeth pulled out and a bit of gum repair surgery too. This blew my mind. I suppose it's true that techniques and technology updates helped create this result, but those things still are provided by the dentist himself. So I write this to highly highly recommend ProSmile Dental Implant Center based solely on the fact that I had no pain at all. It was a few weeks before my bridge could be installed. There were two delays because the new teeth were not the exact match in color to my remaining teeth. This drove my poor daughter out of her mind as her wedding was a week or two out, but I didn't mind a bit! These wonderful people wanted absolute perfection. Even when I said it looked good, the team recognized a slight difference, and they brought the lab guy in to fix it. He was able to rush it and it was all good the next day! I am certain that any other dentist would have gone ahead with the sub par work when I said it was fine with me. But not them. They insisted they make it perfect, and I am very glad they did. I was able to attend my daughter's wedding without hiding my smile. As far as I know, her new in-laws don't think I am a meth head, at least not based on my teeth. And I can attest to the fact that not having to worry that a stranger will gasp involuntarily when they see you grin a toothless grin at them is truly a life changing improvement. It takes a few weeks to lose the habit of a no teeth smile, but soon you return to how you were before you lost any teeth, and it is WONDERFUL. Thank you to ProSmile Dental Implant Center, and especially thank you to my beautiful daughter. Love is awesome!
