On the day of the procedure, from the time they took her back to when she was ready for us (after 4 extractions), the time was only about an hour. Dr. Harris called that evening to check in and see how she was doing. Follow up appointment 10 days later was great - prompt and quick. Our daughter didn't have any issues with the procedure, and is healing great. I would definitely recommend this office to others. Thank you!

Based on Dr. Buch's reviews, I expected an excellent surgeon. What was unexpected and so refreshing…read morewas his energy, and the energy of his team. When you walk into an office for the first time and the energy is light, and everyone you encounter is genuinely friendly and positive, it makes an impression. When that same experience repeats itself over multiple visits, you realize it's not just a good day, it's the culture. Dr. Buch's team clearly enjoys and respects one another, and that feeling carries through to every patient interaction. The energy is consistently warm, upbeat, and welcoming. Dr. Buch deserves real credit - not only is he an excellent surgeon, he is thoughtful, highly informative, and easy to connect with. More importantly, he's created an environment that feels as exceptional as the care itself, which frankly, sets this practice apart. I highly recommend Dr. Buch at Southwest Oral Surgery.

My star rating has nothing to do with my surgeon. My surgeon and the team assisting him during my…read moreprocedure were wonderful. I even returned a few days later with a sinus infection, and Dr. Stabley was extremely kind, patient, and helpful. The surgical care itself was excellent. However, my experience with the administrative side of this office has been very disappointing. I overpaid for my surgery and was issued a refund check, which unfortunately expired before I cashed it. That part is on me. After finding the check again in mid-August, I contacted the office to have it reissued. Since then, it has been four months of calling, emailing, and trying to get a simple replacement check. I have been told multiple times that the issue is being taken care of and that I would receive a call back, which never happens. I've sent and received a total of 13 phone calls since August, plus multiple emails. I've also spoken with the practice administrator--who has been kind--but the problem still hasn't been resolved. I've been given conflicting information: that the check was mailed to my home and rerouted by USPS due to an incorrect address (even though the address they read back to me was correct), that the check was then supposedly mailed to the office instead and expected to arrive on 11/19/25, and later that follow-up would be provided--yet no one ever follows through. I even went in person on 12/8 to ask about the status, was promised a next-day update, and still received nothing. I received another update on 12/10 that the check would be sent to their office by the next week. Given that it's now the 21st of December, I don't think I'll be seeing this check by the end of the year as they mentioned. It should not take months to reissue a refund, and it's extremely discouraging to feel constantly overlooked. I genuinely wanted to continue coming here and recommending my clientele because my surgical experience was great, but the ongoing lack of communication and follow-through from the front office has been very disappointing.

Happy Valley Family Dentistry lured me in with a $79 cleaning special but refused to honor that…read morespecial-my next visit was going to be ten times the advertised special. Typical bait and switch move, and the reference to "treatment plan" at check-in should have tipped me off-it seems that a lot of dental practices went to the same seminar on maximizing their revenue. But the deal breaker for me was that their fees are outrageous. I was going to pay cash and was presented with an eight thousand dollar treatment plan. Even with enrolling in their annual discount plan (which was not free) I was told I was paying rates thirty percent HIGHER than they would bill insurance. So I am going to pay cash-no paperwork, so administrative hassle, and I have to pay $1,200 for the same crown a major insurer will pay $800 for? It would have been nice to go to a dentist within a half mile of my home, but I am going to cut my losses (only $60 paid for their scam visit) and I will keep looking for my new dentist.

Obviously didn't want that happening, so I scheduled an appointment for a consultation. Dr. Johnson viewed the X-ray and I set up an date for the operation. I have had extra teeth removed before when I was younger, and they were all painful during the healing process. However, after the operation with Dr. Johnson I only took two Advils plus the antibiotics that he prescribed. The stitches were clean and minimal, which helped during the healing process. Before the surgery took place, they scheduled a follow-up appointment a week out. My stitches were supposed to dissolve away after a week, but they choose not to, so I had a couple of them removed. Over all, great place to get oral surgery. Dr. Johnson and his staff go above and beyond than other places I have been to.
