I do enjoy coming here. The food is always good and the servers are some of the most pleasant I have ever had.

The food was good, but the tea was so bad! It was just bitter and cold. The waitress gave us cream and sugar for It but it just made it worse. Overall, the service was really good. The host was a little rude to my children when they wanted to enter the coloring contest. But the ambiance was good. read more

Waitress didn't know her head from her ass. Manger was worse than the attitude of the waitress.

What can I say about the Valley Dairy? It's food, it's clean, and they accommodating my request for extras. But all of those things I just mentioned or the standard for any restaurant if they hoped to even be considered OK. My order was taken quickly I do not feel as if I've been ignored and my food was hot and arrived in a timely fashion. The food tasted ok for it was not repulsive, but it was a little bland and institutionalized and taste. What I mean by this is that it felt as if the Chicken breasts I was eating came from a factory and were portion controlled, they were too uniform in their shape and weight not to be. Also, you can tell by the moisture the texture of the chickens that this particular chicken was on the lower end of of the industrial process, a lower grade of chicken. The vegetables were of course frozen and it would not surprise me if the breadstick was also frozen, but I did not eat the bread stick. The side salad was OK, but it is really difficult to mess up a salad. I couldn't help over hearing a few customers complaining about the soup's, for their selection of soups that evening was different than what they had advertised for they had gone through their " bags of soup" Earlier in the day. So if you had high hopes of homemade soup I would hate to disappoint you but it would appear that it arrives frozen as well. Although I did not order their ice cream, it appears that this place is famous for it or corporate places emphasis on the ice cream portion of the business, but it doesn't appear to be an exclusive ice cream stand, so it's pretty confusing what their emphasis is. They must be doing something right, for while I was there several people had ordered some type of ice cream dish. I only know this because I was stationed/seated by the cash register and the ice cream mixer so my dinner was frequently interrupted by the sound of an ice cream machine going off at a blender mixing. My take away is that this place would be good to take grandma and grandpa to or the kids, because the portions are very small for what you pay for and the quality of the food just isn't there. Is it edible? Yes it is edible, but it's largely forgettable and you will be hungry after you leave. Well I would go back, because it wasn't that bad, I just wouldn't order a dinner maybe a sandwich? But all in all given the area you really don't have very many options down there and this option will do in a pinch I suppose.But if you're looking for a place to take a girlfriend/wife out to, or a place that serves fresh ingredients and offers ample portions this place is not for you. read more

I haven't stopped for 2 years plus but for the most part, the location was convenient near Walmart & Cranberry I & II. Home Depot & a movie theaters, Bob Evans, Goodwill. A social security office. Good location, plenty of parking. read more

We took a chance on Valley Dairy in spite of it not being rated very high (and only having 3 reviews). We had a great experience! We were greeted warmly and promptly. The service was great all around! I had the chicken pecan salad sandwich and my hubby had the cheeseburger club sandwich. Both were delicious! Just had breakfast, which was very good. To bad the service is horrible, the hostess was rude because we didn't want to sit surrounded by yelling kids, she got angry at us. The girl that took our drink order brought it to us wrong and didn't stay long enough to say something. Salad had old brown "greens" and wilted brown broccoli. When I told the waitress she offered to take it back but I was so hungry I told her I'd eat what I could, which wasn't much. That plate should never have been served in the first place. Iced tea was wayyyy too strong. Dried egg on the table didn't help the whole experience. No apology, no alteration in the bill. We've tried Valley Dairy several time over the past ten years and we finally just gave up. Although the staff is friendly, the food is terrible. Everything is bland and poor quality. The most recent time my husband pulled pork was a runny mess. There was water all over his plate and soaking his fries. The waitress did mention that she reused it was very watery when she brought it out. It souls have never made it too our table. The salad wasn't fresh either. Although there aren't a lot of options in the immediate area, this was our last time hoping it will be better. Drive a few miles to The Log Cabin and you'll get much better food. read more

Food here is okay. I've had it several times and it's been decent. They have great banana splits! I would give it a 5 star if they didn't mess my order up 2 times I've been there our of 3. Both times they fixed it and it was good tho. It's just annoying to wait for it to be fixed after already waiting long enough to get it. read more
