Our 1950's house is about half plaster and half sheet rock, but he did a great job with all of it. Our house is in the hills, and we had a major remodel done a few years back, which resulted in cracks appearing in the walls and ceilings over the last 17 years that we've lived in the house. Elvis did an amazing job of fixing ALL of it, and he took incredible pride in his work. There was a stairwell that had some odd patching that had been done to it over the years, and I told him it was OK to just repair the cracks and move on, since it was just a stairwell. He thought about it for a while, and said that he could level the entire stairwell (without extra charge), and make it look a lot better. And he was absolutely right - we were so pleasantly surprised by the results. On top of it all, Elvis is a really great guy. My poor shoulders literally got scratched walking through. Daren and Dave performed the following projects: widened the small doorway and fixed shoddy prior work, patched 8 electrical cut out boxes (old cable/lan lines/tv hidden wire boxes), ceiling light move hole patched, big 10x20" cutout from a plumbing project, float out old drywall repair that had a big vertical seam. He was highly skilled and at all of the patches, the framing and sheetrock installation/mudding/taping/texture spraying. I appreciated how quickly Daren worked and the quality of every job. A lot of the work was detailed but also technical in terms of fixing that doorway. He nailed it. In addition, he arrived promptly at 7:00am each day as promised, did an immaculate job taping and containing the areas in plastic to ensure no overspray got on my stuff.
