At this time I wasn't really interested in this as my main concern was price. In todays day and age, this is the biggest driving factor. We walked through layout and dimensions, same as I did with the other four General contractors (one wasn't licensed) to make sure the bids were apples to apples. A few days later he provided a proposal which to my surprise was the most reasonable. We worked through a schedule and I was more than excited to get started (more so my wife than I). Wow, what can I say, he not only beat his own schedule but did an excellent job. I am a carpenter by trade and the quality of work in both carpentry and workmanship provided, exceeded what I have seen here in the valley. Long story short I ended up having him provide a bid for my bathroom remodel, which I did the demo myself to try to save some money. All I can say is thank you Jake, your customer service and quality of work was exceptional. I found this company on PORA, the Sun City West approved list of vendors. A few weeks ago I changed…read morethe door knob and deadbolt on our patio door from bright brass to satin nickel, to match some new kitchen hardware. The brass hinges still stood out, so I replaced them one by one with new nickel hinges. (This is a heavy door, and there are four 4" hinges.) It looked great when I finished, but the door would not shut. I tried some adjustments. Nothing worked. Finally I replaced all 4 new hinges with the old brass ones, using all the original holes. To my amazement, the door still would not close. I consider myself a pretty accomplished home handyman, but I was at a loss how to fix this. I wedged the door against the jam as best I could, and waited for CR to arrive. Enter Jerry and Adam, two genuinely nice fellows who are also highly skilled. Forty minutes after arrival the job was done. The new hinges were on the door, looked great, and it closed perfectly in the frame. Jerry showed me screws hidden behind the weatherstripping which he used to hold in place the shims needed to reconfigure the door jam. He is obviously expert at what he does. A less experienced general handyman might have spent hours drilling, moving hinges, etc. and never gotten the door to work properly. I am very impressed by my interaction with CR, and will not hesitate to call them for our next remodeling project.
