We hired Susanna and her crew to paint the interior of our home. She did an absolutely amazing job. I could tell from the moment we met her that she cared about the quality of her work. She and her crew were meticulous and careful throughout the job. On the final day of the job they cleaned thoroughly and did "touch up." Sussanna made sure there wasn't an errant drop of paint to be found or an inch of wall space missed. She made sure everything blended perfectly. Her work was perfect. Her price was VERY reasonable for what we got and I couldn't have asked for better quality work. It's like we've moved into a new home. I would hire her again in a heartbeat without even considering other options.

Honestly, if you're going to operate a small, independent business, you still need to have customer service skills and integrity. Buying a home and requiring a full interior and exterior paint job is pretty significant, and now that we have hired another company for close to 10k, Chromatic lost out. I'm not sure what the issue is with the lack of integrity, but it's disappointing because Susanna's work looks incredible from the photos on yelp. I was very clear about the fact that I needed completion prior - which gave him 2 weeks to complete things. He assured me that it would be completed in time. We paid him for materials and 1/2 labor up front and would pay the remaining labor upon completion. We arranged for him to have access to the home to do the work. I checked in multiple times to make sure he was on track and we were reassured each time - even the day prior to our arrival. We arrive to the home after a long 12 hour drive to find the work was not even 1/2 completed. When we confronted him he didn't have any answers- finally told us that he should have communicated better. He also did not have the materials for the project (we were putting in French doors) - there were no doors and when we asked where they were he told us he didn't have them nor did he have the money to buy them. He had not even started the project of framing for the French doors. He spent the money we paid for materials "cash flow problem in his words". He asked to make it right and committed to bringing some help the next morning and would have to job finished by the weekend - no surprise- he didn't show back up and did not contact us. I had to contact with another company in order to have the job completed. I would highly suggest that you do not hire.
