I want to give them 6 stars…read more I needed some minor drywall work, I quoted the job on Yelp and their bid was reasonable. They did a good job and I was impressed with the care they took to clean up after their work. So I asked about painting the wall they repaired. I was impressed with the quote so I asked the about our entire first floor (about 1600 sf). Well, I liked that quote as well so I gave them the job. They did not disappoint. They worked steadily, finished the job in the time stated, and at their estimated price. They cleaned up. They are now the go to people for handy work in my Mesa home.

Tyler and Ronelle removed the deteriorating drywall and replaced it with tongue and groove rough-sawn wood that completely changed the look of our home. They were incredibly easy to work with, offering design guidance, stain options, and thoughtful installation ideas that enhanced the rustic style we were going for. Their workmanship was clean, efficient, and high quality, and they even stained the wood to match our existing materials perfectly. The project stayed on schedule and within budget, which is rare these days. If you need reliable handyman services, porch remodeling, soffit work, or custom wood ceiling upgrades, this is a hardworking and highly recommendable team.

Freddy and Jaime were at the door, on time, every day. Another thing I was impressed with was the way everyone carried themselves on the job. Always professional and courteous. Keep it up PHP!! Unfortunately this came to a startling halt. When we made the decision on our colors it was made very clear that we wanted Dunn Edwards. This was very well known and samples for provided to us in the large block samples. Since things are pretty busy out there, Robin asked if we would not mind giving those back once work began as they may need them for other customers at some point. We didn't think anything of it and so we offered to give those back. Looking back we really wish we had never done that. You'll find out why. We went through the process of getting our colors approved. Colors requested were approved through HOA to be Dunn Edwards. We set the date for our paint to get done. We were super excited as this was a big purchase for us on our home that we plan to stay in to retire in. We've never done a big purchase like this on a home that we have owned since we got married. So as you can expect this is pretty exciting for us. So starts the process, and make it busy doing the patchwork and getting prepared to put the paint on. We were never informed of any need to substitute to an alternate brand, in other words to color match. Two of the four colors are not terrible, but not 100%.The other two are completely wrong. We tried to address this, but had no resolve. They made the choice to proceed with color matching outside of the brand chosen, and won't take responsibility for the fact that they didn't come close to matching at all. Yet, they want payment in full. They never cleared the alternative brand with us, and just tried to pull a fast one on us, hoping we wouldn't notice. Well, we noticed. Sherwin Williams doesn't equal Dunn Edwards. Not even close. Such a shame.

I sent a picture notifying them of this and it was agreed that it would be touched up in December. It's clear that finishing the job wasn't a priority, and I thought we were easy to work with and were more than accommodating. After several failed attempts of stopping by, poor communication, and just disappointment of all those said times it would be getting fixed and it fell through, we went forward with attempting to paint it ourselves. They do a wonderful paint job, but just make sure you don't pay in full until you are completely satisfied and everything is to your standards. You're paying good money for this job. Being one of the "cool" customers bites you in the butt sometimes.

***UPDATE**** Seven weeks after the remodel, Maxum did the…read moreright thing and replaced the granite with the cracked countertop with the exact granite that was installed. I am now satisfied. We had our master bathroom remodeled. One week after completion of bathroom remodel, we noticed the granite countertop was cracked the entire width. They sent someone out to repair, but we weren't satisfied with how it looked as it was still very noticeable. They agreed to replace the counter but said they would not replace with the same granite as the only piece available was larger and more expensive. We thought that would be okay. I received an email a few days later stating "the guys have found a piece to match what you have. They are going to pick it up and start fabrication again." I waited 2 weeks before contacting again to see where we were with progress. I received a call later that day and was told they wanted me to look at the granite to make sure I was satisfied. Apparently the piece was not in fabrication as I was told. Won't go into details regarding the meeting not happening as scheduled. We saw the slab, and it was darker, and thinner than our original granite. At first we said okay. And when asked when we could expect it to be done, we were not given a clear answer. But as my husband and I thought about it, we contacted them and canceled the replacement, as we did not think we would be happy with the replacement and felt that since the crack was discovered so soon after completion, it should have been replaced with the same granite we had chosen, and we would just have to live with the crack. Our big mistake was handing over the final payment before looking over everything with a fine tooth comb. This was our first remodel. It took three weeks and they finished late on the final day. We were all tired. But it seems once that final payment was made, we no longer mattered and they were pretty much done with us and on to the next project.

Do not recommend this company for landscaping. Seems like a fly by night company and they got us…read more If I could have them pull up the entire back yard and refund my money I would. We started this process in April and was told it would be a week long project... they finally completed the project in June. We had MANY hiccups, the project manager Devin was nice but horrible communication. He blamed everything on others when 95% of the errors were due to his lack of communication and effort. We had to hound him to come out to our property to speak about what was going on and so he could physically see the errors that were made. He would tell us that he would be out and then never show up, no call nothing. We received two total different sizes of river rocks, but it wasn't worth the hassle of having them take it back because the workers (who rarely knew what they were supposed to be doing) already began laying them. I had to go out and have them hide the larger rocks on the side of the house instead of mixing them in with the smaller rocks. Our turf was laid incorrectly and they sent out the workers to fix it 3 times, if Devin would have just showed up the first time to check their work it could have been prevented but he was just so busy that he didn't have time even though there were multiple jobs going on in our neighborhood that he had time to go to. Worst customer service I have ever received, even down to the receptionist. Go spend your money with another landscape company and save yourself the headache.
