I purchased a T1N 2005 2500 Dodge Sprinter from Jason at Valley Auto Sales in Panorama City and had a great experience buying from him.
I noticed Jason's Sprinters through his detailed craigslist ads. I called Jason and asked him many questions about the sprinters. In our initial conversation, Jason generously shared information and insight about sprinters for something close to an hour.
I currently live in San Francisco, and I drove down to look at a sprinter that I had my eye on.
To my surprise, Jason called me on the way down and offered to set me up with a better set of tires for the van, as well as an installation of catalytic converter protection. I responded with an enthusiastic yes! I was very impressed that Jason was thinking about my unique needs for the van.
When I arrived at the shop, Jason showed me a T1N sprinter engine showing me the different components of the engine. He showed me the instrument cluster and temperature gauge to explain the normal operating temperatures of the diesel engine.
Due to my unique life circumstances, I was nervous about making the sprinter van purchase. Jason could tell, and he was reassuring, telling me that he has a non-pressure approach to selling. He told me that he didn't need to sell me the van if it wasn't right for me.
Though it was a scary leap to buy, it seemed like the right thing for me to do for upcoming changes, and so after some deliberation, I purchased the van.
Jason had explained to me prior, during, and after my purchase, that he stands by his vans, in how he has checked them for mechanical integrity, and he buys High quality maintained fleet vehicles. Jason told me that if any problem were to happen to come up, he saves his customer's phone numbers, and they can contact him to assist should an issue arise. If you were to have any sort of issue come up, I'd suggest reaching out to Jason and he will certainly get you taken care of, or provide you with the information/resources for your needs.
There were a few more details that Jason helped me sort out the following day, including setting me up with a spare key, a contractor who set me up with clear headlights, and Jason loaning me the tools and supplies to install a cigarette lighter for my journey.
Jason showed the professionalism of a car dealer, as well as the honesty, friendliness, and helpfulness of a kind neighbor. The smooth experience was slightly surreal in how helpful and easy Jason made it. Jason and his wife Susan went above and beyond in the ways I've mentioned so far, and in several other ways also. They are really great, kind, helpful, and deliberate.
One thing to note, While Jason gets a bit of help from occasional helpers, and assistance from his Wife when she is around, Jason is largely a one-man band operation. Due to juggling many customers, vehicles, and obligations, I would recommend making an appointment with him, so he can attend to you fully. Once it's your turn, he will take great care of you. Making an appointment will help create the space for him to assist you.
I had some time to get to know Jason and his Wife Susan, and they are both very cool, kind, patient, and intelligent people. It was great meeting them, as well as a great opportunity to engage in mutually beneficial business.
After I purchased the van and set off on my Journeys, Jason reached out to me a couple of times to just check in on me, as he knew that I was a first-time sprinter owner, and I was headed out on my initial voyage.
I drove from Panorama City to Phoenix Arizona, and then back to San Francisco, The van did great!
If I had to sum up the experience in one word, I'd use the word "Helpful". Jason helped me figure out if the van was right for my needs, and after I did, he went above and beyond to help me out.
I can highly recommend Jason from Auto Valley Sales, He and his Wife Susan are great, and can assist you in your sprinter Journeys and dreams.
Thanks, Jason!
Thanks, Susan!
