I hate to post a negative review about this pharmacy because I used to LOVE it a few years ago, but…read moreit has gone downhill to the point where I've now switched back to the dreaded Walgreens. I loved having a wonderful small pharmacy option so I hope they can get it together and go back to how they used to be. I have a few big problems with AA Pharmacy and they keep being an issue lately, unfortunately. First, they have a major issue with what they leave out spread across their counter. The last three times I was there, there were prescriptions with names of the person and names of the medicine in bags sitting right out on the same counter where you pay. Not only could I see confidential info, including about one person I knew, I also could have just taken some of the bags had I wanted to. It's so odd and they don't seem to care that confidential info is just cascading out on the same countertops where people are checking out. It seems so disorganized and careless now, which is disconcerting when I'm trusting them to manage medications for my family. Second, in the beginning, the pharmacist was always there and he was so friendly and helpful -- now there are several rude and/or inattentive people who will finish eating their sandwich before coming over to help people waiting at the register. If you have a question for a pharmacist, there often is not one there. If I ask when one will be there, they often aren't sure. I assume the prescriptions are still reviewed by a pharmacist (?!), but I have had two recent ones where they gave me the wrong amount, and both times they barely seemed to care. I'm not surprised to see all the good reviews from them are at least a year old. Sadly, the whole feeling there has changed so much and it's a huge disappointment. I've transferred away from them as of this week but I hope they improve!

If you're looking for a pharmacy that takes it to the next level, especially when it comes to…read morefilling prescriptions for your pet, then Clark Professional Pharmacy is the place for you. They are one of a handful of compounding pharmacies in the Washtenaw County area. While a retail pharmacy is a one-size-fits-all, compounding pharmacies like Clark, take an individual approach to medicine. They create medicine using base ingredients, which allows for greater flexibility in administrating specialty medication(s) to your pet. The staff at Clark Professional Pharmacy are very friendly and knowledgeable. If you are unsure about how to administer medication to your pet, they will take time to explain it to you, and answer any questions that you might have. The part I like is that it's easy to obtain prescription refills by using their automated phone system, especially during their off hours. So if you need specialty medication for your pet or natural supplements for yourself, Clark's the place for you.

They insisted that they do not make mistakes like that and was told repeatedly that "somebody is fucking with your medicine." The bottles were still in the stapled bag from the pharmacy when I opened them. Since I do not have transportation and I take an extremely large amount of medications, Healthsmart delivery service is a godsend. The staff are pleasant and easy to communication with. My only concern is that this pharmacy tends to refill medications without contacting me beforehand. More than a few times, I have had reason not to have certain medications refilled. I would save money (mine or my insurers) if I could stop the refill of medications I do not need. Bravo Healthsmart

This review is specifically for the employee Robin, who I've encountered a few times working in the…read morepharmacy department. I hope she feels valued and enjoys her work, because CVS is lucky to have such an authentic, friendly, sincere person representing their brand. She works with grace under pressure -- not easy with the long pharmacy lines at this busy location. Each person is treated with dignity and she addresses their needs with individual attention and concern. She knows the "regulars" by name and very naturally creates a familiar connection with customers. Going to the pharmacy is usually a mundane task, but can sometimes cause a lot of grief, confusion, and money. Robin has helped me several times in the past when my insurance coverage was dropped and later retroactively reinstated. She walked me through what I needed for the reimbursement process, helped me identify the scripts that were paid out-of-pocket, and was overall compassionate and understanding. She was far more helpful than the insurance company, the doctors office, or the pharmacists and technicians behind the counter. Thank you Robin! Also, I hope corporate sees this...she deserves recognition and a substantial raise because there's no way she's being paid what she's worth.* *I mean, who is? But still...
