Denver a few weeks before our trip, and after exchanging vaccination records and filling out a few forms, we were all set. This was an absolutely fantastic experience for both us and our dog. They treated her with such care, and made sure she had everything she needed. We were a little nervous the first day, but we were able to access webcams throughout the facility to keep an eye on her. The establishment is clean and seems really well maintained. All the staff we interacted with were so friendly. You could tell they really loved dogs. They match dogs up in groups based on both size and level of activity, and they rotate the dogs around through a few different play spaces throughout the day, so they don't get bored. We loved it so much, we brought our dog back the next day. This is an amazing dog daycare right downtown. Great job Bark! Denver.

We were devastated to learn that the facility does not provide overnight supervision, despite advertising that staff live on-site. This creates a misleading impression that dogs are monitored at all times, which was not the case. Molly was noted to be in good condition during the last evening check at 8:30 p.m. and was found deceased the following morning. With no staff present overnight, her condition went unnoticed, and any chance of intervention was lost. In addition, Boomer--our surviving dog--was administered a medication he is allergic to, despite our clearly documented instructions and the prescription not being in his name. This represents a serious lapse in attention to medical protocols and safety. In a follow-up message, the owner stated, "we believe nothing could have been done to prevent Molly's unexpected passing." Given what we know about bloat, and the importance of timely recognition and treatment, we strongly disagree. We are sharing our experience so that other pet owners can make fully informed decisions. If medical oversight or overnight monitoring is important to you--as it was to us--please ask very specific questions. Unfortunately, the care provided did not match the level of safety and attentiveness we were led to expect.

They took such good care of our pets during longer trips, that we also had them start walking the dog midday daily on weekdays. Sitting can be booked easily online. We even recently had an emergency that took us out of town suddenly over the weekend, and they responded right away assuring us our pets would be taken care of. Vince was very responsive and at drop off explained everything we needed to know about his process, what he'd be doing with our dog, and answered all of our questions. We felt very comfortable leaving Klaus there. Once training was complete, Vince conducted a whole session of showing us exactly what Klaus learned and more importantly taught us what we needed to do moving forward. Vince was super patient with us and made sure we felt 100% comfortable going home to continue the work. Vince has been available for any follow up questions and hosts monthly group training classes for clients, which are amazing. Klaus loves and respects Vince so much and is always excited to see him. A couple weeks after training we went out of town and boarded Klaus with Vince and couldn't be happier with the convenience and the controlled environment. I recommend Colorado Canine Training to anyone looking to better understand their dog and get the training they need. Klaus is excited to work on his new skills everyday now!
