We opted for for puppy training classes and I loved the science based approach to teaching my new puppy. This was a 7 week schedule, 1 hour per week. We would travel to their studio and work with a training and up to 6 other dogs on puppy basics (Sit, stay, come, etc). Troubled pets (or owners) got the added hands on and for the overall value, this was a great program. I should mention our puppy, Soffie STILL listens to commands and has learned many more since this class with just the basic training method we learned. We haven't gone back for next training, but thats our fault and not theirs. We look forward to it soon!

She has brought happiness and calm into my home! When my sweet little Maltese/Cavalier puppy came into my life I was so excited. He is a rescue from a puppy mill, my first dog. I quickly learned that rescue dogs have their own challenges in life and for my dog is was fear. He is pretty much afraid of everyone. Petsmart was fine to a point but I knew he needed someone to help give him special attention. After a horrible experience with one trainer I found Barrie. Barrie has shown my dog that he has options in life. Instead of barking at strangers he can safely walk away. Instead of fear he has the choice to find safety. Her approach is kind, connected and focused 100% on what's going on with my dog. I am so thrilled to have found her. Thank you Barrie!!

The problem was escalating and they were afraid they would have to return the new dog. But Barrie came over and they were amazed how much improvement happened over a single session! With continued work, the two dogs were now becoming best buddies. A good trainer does wonders! Well, my time to call Barrie came along at the beginning of this year when my American Bulldog started growling at my husband for what seemed like no apparent reason. It was happening more and more frequently, and it was such a scary feeling to get impression my dog was turning on someone I love. I called Barrie who came to my house, spent time talking to us, and observed the dog. She quickly diagnosed the problem, explained what was happening, and gave us the tools to stop the behavior. MY DOG HAS NOT GROWLED ONCE SINCE BARRIE CAME TO OUR HOUSE!! If you are having issues with your dog, I highly recommend Barrie. She is fun, super smart, kind to the dogs, effective in her approach, and most importantly, GETS RESULTS.,

Dear MAMR, On May of…read more2018, I adopted a little puppy named (at the time) Chi Chi Cher from the Moms and Mutts Rescue in Denver, CO. She was only 11 weeks old and full of excitement and life as most puppies are. MAMR did an outstanding job fostering her before I brought her home to be with my husband and I. We have no children. I renamed her, "Annie Oakley" as she was loaded with high energy and always packed a big hug to everyone. She was put through extensive training to become a "Service Dog" for my husband, as he had a massive heart attack and stroke. "Annie" changed our lives for the better, as she loved unconditionally and gave 100 percent of her love to us and many others. I would periodically take her with me to Wal-Mart to keep her maintenance up. She would have made a great greater at Church, as it was instilled in her to go up and love on everyone she saw, especially those in the military. When given a "Q", after meeting someone in service at W-Mart, she would sit and then give the sweetest "salute" over and over again, to thank them for serving. It made their day. There were several times, people would gather around and take video of her saluting and find out later it was on facebook or twitter. Today, "Annie" turns "8" year old and we hope and pray she will be with us for many more years to brighten everyones day with her loving attitude and unconditional love towards everyone. HAPPY BIRTHDAY "ANNIE" You are so very loved and appreciated! Craig & Joy Carpenter Jacksonville, FL C:\Users\Admin\OneDrive\Desktop\Screenshot_20220504-071923_Gallery.jpg
