We absolutely love this H-E-B. It's our favorite supermarket and we shop here all the time since we…read morelive very close by. Almost all of our groceries come from this location. The store always has a great selection of fresh products, everything is well organized, and it's easy to find what you need without wasting time. The quality is consistently good, especially the fresh food and ready-to-eat sections. The store is clean, well stocked, and the overall shopping experience is always comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful whenever we have questions. For our family, this is our main and most trusted grocery store. Highly recommend.

H-E-B is basically the grocery store in Texas, and once you shop there for a while, it kind of…read moreruins other supermarkets for you. First off, it just feels better to shop there. The stores are usually clean, well-organized, and not chaotic in that "why is this aisle always a disaster?" way you get elsewhere. The produce section is consistently solid--fresh fruit, good veggies, and a lot of Texas/local stuff depending on the season. It's one of those places where you can actually trust that what looks good... is good. The meat department is another win. Decent prices, good quality, and the staff will actually help if you need something specific instead of acting like you're bothering them. Same vibe with seafood and deli--pretty reliable across the board. One thing people always mention (and it's true) is the H-E-B store brand stuff. A lot of it is just as good as name brands, sometimes better, and cheaper. Tortillas, chips, basic pantry stuff, dairy--it all hits. Once you start grabbing their brand by default, you stop caring about the national brands pretty quickly. The ready-to-eat section is also underrated. Rotisserie chicken, hot foods, sushi in some locations, quick grab-and-go meals--it's not gourmet, but it's actually good for what it is. Super helpful when you don't feel like cooking. Prices overall are fair, especially compared to bigger national chains. You can definitely shop cheap here without feeling like you're buying low-quality stuff. Only real downside is it gets busy. Like, really busy during peak hours, and parking can be annoying at the bigger stores. Also, popular items sometimes sell out fast because everyone else already knows what's good. But honestly, that kind of just comes with how popular it is. At this point, H-E-B is less "a grocery store you go to" and more just the default place Texans expect to shop.

I've been getting gas at Crystal Food mart about once or twice a week for over 4 years now. They…read morerecently started blasting ads on the video screens at the pumps with no way to mute them. I've complained about it but apparently they don't care. It's extremely annoying and invasive to have these ads screaming at you while you're pumping gas. I find this type of captive advertising unacceptable and I will no longer be getting gas or shopping there. They've lost my business.

Located just two blocks south of the southeast entrance to my Sorrento Community Subdivision of D R Horton new homes on Weiss Lane across from our famous Lake Pflugerville Recreational Park and Lake, it's not only the convenience that's top notch. The staff is friendly, well-trained, efficient, and helpful with any questions you may have about their stock on hand, their walk up restaurant menu, and their other services like air for your tires or available water for your vehicle. They always have plenty of paper towels and squeegees available on both sides of every trash receptacle at every gas pump throughout their Texaco top tier gasoline and diesel pump stations. I like the sheer professionalism and quick checkout when you're short on time for chit chat. If you need a receipt for gas or diesel and if your pump doesn't have printer paper out at your pump outside, just go back inside with your pump number and the dollar amount of your purchase, whether you prepay inside or pay with a debit, credit, company, or prepaid cash card, the cashier inside the store will quickly print out a paper receipt for your purchase records. Oh what a feeling when employees really care about their customer's needs. They really come to work everyday starting at 6 a.m. with a smile on their faces, great work ethics, and superb dedication when doing a fine job for each and every customer because they really do care about a job well done!!
