Gas prices are always competitive, and since the remodel, the store feels more open and much cleaner with more fresh options for a bite to eat. . They serve food, and always seems to be fairly busy. There is usually a lunch special that can be made fresh, or you can simply have a made-to-order taco, or grab something from under the heat lamps. It's convenient no matter what you choose. Staff is always friendly with a hello and a smile when you walk in. They always have fresh bread and milk (at convenience store prices) when you need to grab something quick or don't feel like fighting the crowd at HEB. Lately the slushie machines have been out of order (for awhile now) and that's a bit of a disappointment for my kids, but when those are working.. everyone is happy. I'm glad to have them nearby. I never hesitate to stop here. It's the cleanest, friendliest stop on the north end of Leander.

Every time myself or one of my family members has to come here (for convenience) it almost ALWAYS puts a damper on my day. There is only one sweet short lady with dark hair and the night guy with long black hair that are at the least bit decent. I hope your market manager sees this review and does some restructuring of the people at this store, they are very unwelcoming and DO NOT provide the circle k expectancy I've grown to love and appreciate.

At the risk of being a broken record, QT is the best convenience store chain for everyday life…read more Sure, the Beaver is a great place for road trips, souvenirs, and all things Texas. But for clean stores, fair prices, great drinks of all sorts, and really good snack options -- even after hours, QT is the best. Stopped in late Wednesday night and I was as impressed as usual. There's plenty of drinks. The store is well lit. The store is clean. The staff is beyond friendly. The snack bar is closed, but there's plenty of great stuff on the roller grill. (FYI, the steak and cheese taquitos are stellar.) The condiment area for the roller grill/snack bar is spotless -- and stocked. 2 taquitos and 2 fountain drinks for under $6. What's not to love about this place?

These delicious morsels are served with roasted peppers, onions, and cheese and include beans and rice as a side. The menu is fairly diverse for a burgers-and-tacos sort of place. They offer gorditas and tacos al pastor, which is a pleasant surprise. While I can't comment on the burgers or fries as of yet, these were delish in a most interesting and unusual way. That is...the beans, which are a bit watery at the start, are a sort of tasty universal food lubricant. Both the rice and the fajitas are a touch on the dry side. But a dollop of the beans...and voila, everything comes out perfectly tasty and the right level of moist! It's almost head-scratchingly good. Definitely worth a visit if you're in this neck of the woods. I know that I'll be back. This place scores a 4 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good.
