I'm pescatarian. Sales tax - 8.375% ($7.70) I was craving seafood in a bag. When The hubby and I decided to stop in Fairfield to run some errands, I decided to give Bag O Crab a try. I placed my takeout order thru their site. You can tip online so no need to bring cash if you choose to tip for pickup orders. The order comes in a reusable bag. And they followed my note to put the sausages on the side. I thought the food was great. Good amount of heat. Tho for the spiciest level, I always want more. It wasn't quite spicy enough. Good flavor for their OG cajun. My craving was definitely satisfied. I tend to crave seafood in a bag quite often. However, it is pricey for a solo meal, so I try to only indulge every once in a while. Would come again for their c4 combo. REVIEW #4033

The inside of the restaurant is really cute & spacious, we've always been lucky enough to sit in the booths. We came today & ordered combo #2 with atomic sauce with dynamite spice along with their garlic noodles. The food itself was jam packed with so much flavor, it was delicious! The dynamite spice is perfect if you're someone who enjoys spice. If you don't know already, they do make you pay immediately after ordering so be prepared for that! Our server was nice as well & made sure we were doing okay. The only issue that has happened during previous visits , is that our server would disappear completely & we'd be left with no refills & no help when needed. That's just one little thing this place needs to work on, but the food is fantastic! Always my favorite place to visit when I'm in fairfield

In addition to the many olive trees around the property, they also have a lovely garden that provides ingredients for their outdoor bistro. It's a true farm-to-table experience, with the bistro's offerings changing based on what's available in their garden. *Blistered Peppers: Tasty, well-seasoned, and delicious. Not spicy, just a good pepper taste. Very refreshing, and I loved the huge portion! *Fresh Bread: I love fresh bread, so I appreciated that there were different kinds of bread in the basket. My favorite was the one with olives in it because I love olives. It also comes with some of their iconic olive oils as well as balsamic. *Bucatini with Summer Squash: Also a big portion! The pasta was well cooked, and the pine nuts added excellent flavor. The summer squash was delicious and fresh. *Olive Oil Gelato: Two scoops per order, and I got vanilla with two different olive oil fruit drizzles. It works really well! The oil complements the ice cream, and the ice cream itself is delicious. It has a little more depth of flavor, and I think there's oil incorporated into it as well. I also did the olive oil tasting, which was a great experience as well. It was nice to learn about the process these olives go through, as well as how to assess the taste and quality of olive oil. There's a little shop near the entrance that has all the olive oils they make with descriptions on what they pair well with, balsamic vinegar, and other goodies. My parents loved the ice cream, and ordered another order to-go just before the bistro closed! Overall, the service is excellent and kind, the food is delicious, and the olive oil is plentiful. I think it's worth stopping by if visiting the area, and it's a nice, intimate lunch spot for locals!

This bar is one of the best-kept secrets of the Fairfield/Suisun/Vacaville area; for better or for…read moreworse it is my duty as a frequent patron to let others know about it. The Marriott Bar/Lounge is located inside of the Marriott Hotel. I discovered it one evening while my husband was stuck at a function in said hotel. Rather than be social and mingle with the hotel crowd in one of the many reception rooms with a nametag slapped to my chest, I decided it would be better to go find the hotel bar. Boy, I'm glad that I did. Mark (the bartender at the Marriott) is a wonderful find. His rockabilly hairstyle and snappy black vest assured me right off the bat that it would be an evening of good conversation and good drinks, and I was not disappointed. Here's the great deal that will knock your socks off: on Tuesday nights there is a free appetizer bar (cheese/vegetables and the like) and free draft beer/select wine. Ideally one should purchase a cocktail for the sake of saying "thank-you" for the wonderful amenities; more importantly, one should order a cocktail for the simple pleasure of experiencing a Mark-crafted Manhattan. The bar itself has two flatscreen TVs; by default Mark usually will keep them trained on the sports world unless you make a request. As it stands the lounge area could stand to be opened up a bit more. The conference/dining area next to the bar is frequently empty, which makes the placement of the bar area feel rather arbitrary. The decor is, well, hotel-y. All the basics are behind the bar but do not go if you plan on ordering an esoteric bourbon. They do have Sierra Nevada on tap, which is nice, but other than that your beer choices are fairly limited if you're an avid microbrew fan. My suggestion: get a group of friends together, grab a table early on (especially on Tuesdays) or sit at the bar and let Mark work his magic. You will not be disappointed.
