Not up for debate. *Quality selection of local goods including food, snacks and crafts. *Fried chicken-fresh, delicious and much recommend if you like fried chicken. *A name you will ask how to pronounce, say it once, then promptly forget how to pronounce. Now I just call it the good gas station with the funny name. As far as gas stations go It's the best, the safest, the only one you should go to when you're in the area.

In fact, everyone I have encountered in Houma has been that way.

This is a fairly brand new location, from what I hear the old place burned down. They have a large bit of everything, from snacks and beverages, tobacco products, a nice wine and spirit offering, and gift items. Shop rite always has great gasoline prices, which makes this my first choice in fueling up my ride. This location additionally is next to Mommie's ( i know, the name threw me for a loop too) and though I haven't actually been there yet, I've heard some nice things about it. I would recommend this place to any passer by, who might need a little of of everything.....

My pirate is a smoker and this place offers cheap prices on cartons that I have found are far more economical than other places....and now they have a frequent buyer punch card, especially good for those whom work offshore and stock up. I have also noted in my tips that this convenience store has an exceptionally clean ladies room, I would assume because the staff is mostly women.....bravo! Not the largest store in the world, but it has Gas and Beer....... If you do stop in, tell them Re' sent you.....

My job has me making somewhat frequent trips between New Orleans and Houma, Galliano and Port…read moreFourchon. The Presto Fuel Center is usually my go to gas station on these trips. The outside setup was really well thought out and the pumps for automobiles and trucks are separated on each side of the building. The automobile side offers plenty of room for larger vehicles (IE, trucks with boats or travel trailers) to pull into and out of. The truck side can accommodate the largest of tractor trailers, RV's or 5th wheels. The store's staff has always been friendly on each and every visit. There is a food counter and a Subway inside as well as the regular food and sundries you'll find in most roadside gas stations. I also like to by my lottery tickets here as I feel lottery winners more often than not, buy their tickets from vendors in these "smaller towns". The restrooms are also pretty clean, which is a good thing, as every time I come here in the A.M, I've already had approximately 40 ounces of coffee and I'm bursting at the seams. LOL
