With no advance…read morewarning and time to only 'shut down' but not enough time to get all unplugged, a poorly trained tech used numerous, powerful surges in the exchange. Powerful enough to leave burn marks on my wall, which fried the hard drive on my computer and the 'brain' on my washer and send me running outside to see what necessitated so many loud surges! This isn't casually stated. I had several out to determine the cause- Geek Squad, AlTex in Arlington both diagnosed my computer so when I called Oncor they sent me to Texas Meter. Mo Bandy, the Investigator for Texas Meter came out, took pictures of the burn marks and confirmed numerous surges caused the issues and that if I sent invoices for the repair he would reimburse the charges. I sent him the invoices, for parts & labor only. Try maintaining your business without your cell! Or your computer! Then for 2 months since, I've tried calling, texts, emails - all without a single response from Mo Bandy or Texas Meters! Now Oncor informs me Texas Meters has refused to pay the claim! Oncor is equally to blame. The truck the tech arrived in was an Oncor truck! I will pursue - with witnesses, but in the meantime, read reviews/do your homework! Reviews are left for a reason - to warn others of unscrupulous businesses! Oncor should cease outsourcing to Texas Meters in Waco! Their techs are poorly trained, the Investigators give only false reassurances, then refuse to answer calls and the home office in Waco accepts no responsibility for the damage done by their employees.

However, when my installer began to install the windows in my house, he told me that the P channel cannot work in my case. So when I called P&P to inform them that I needed to return the J Channel, the lady who sold me the material acknowledged that she had recently sold me the J Channel, only she refused to take it back on account I didn't have a receipt, never mind that they never gave me a receipt. When I asked to speak with her supervisor, I spoke with an extremely rude, belligerent man who insulted me and refused to refund my money for the J Channel that his employee had told me I had to have. Others also heard the man act a fool and were disgusted with his lack of customer service, poor demeanor and fairness. These are shady people and I urge anyone considering doing business with them to reconsider and go elsewhere. After being ripped off, I will never go back to this horrible loser for anything. A first, was a bit p.o.-ed about some of the shiplap being damaged upon delivery, but McCoy's made it right by replacing the damaged boards. Then, the plywood was not the right lumber we needed, so we had to return it. We asked for it to be picked up (since we have no truck currently), and they did while giving us a refund.
