We called the office, explained the situation that she moved, we wanted to pay the balance due and pick up her denture. They will not release the denture to us. Not even if we pay the balance due. I explained the entire situation to them, we feel it would be detrimental to my mom to bring her back there. Without going into too many details on this public forum....They showed no compassion and will not work with us. This has made me very upset. No customer service. Would not recommend!

Delta has changed how much they want to pay dentist that are not in net work, Dr. Coria is a premier dentist so our Delta Insurance does not go as far. We were ok with that but when the front office personnel changed and one of the employees treated us so rudely I said "enough". I have learned a lot about Delta insurance after having to call them all summer when said employee basically told me she had, "done her due diligence," regarding our insurance issue, I said, "enough". I have found a new dentist, in Delta network, their front office employee was able to call Delta and fix the problem. I have two new crowns, no money out of pocket. I do like Dr. Coria but I have find another dentist that I like as well and works for me.

All of us have had the best experience that was possible when you tell a teenager they will be a "brace-face" for at least two years. People underestimate the importance of having a healthy and straight smile (especially Asians). However, I have to admit that my new smile has opened conversations, made friends, generated business, and even paid off in compliments. You wont believe how many random people have walked up to me and say, "You have such a great smile" and walk away! Just walk away. I think it's because it's a sign that you're happy and healthy which is always important in the business world. A couple of things to highlight: *** Dr. Devian is not only very experienced but also very gentle. He will take the time to explain every procedure and every tool. He's also very funny and remembers even the smallest detail of your personal life that you share with him. *** The staff have been loyal to him for a long time. They are extremely friendly and talk to your family. *** They have a "Smile wall" in which they display photos of the end result: a perfect smile. I remember looking at that wall every time I had to go and thought, "I will be there soon." It was very motivating. *** Dr. Devian's office is also one of the few that will put in a semi-permanent retainer for your lower teeth and continually fix a nice retainer for your uppers. It has been at least 6 years since I've been back and he still made me a nice one! *** Dr. Devian always has a personal consultation with you and the family when you initially discuss having braces. He set aside special appointments that are after office hours to meet with you and your family. *** The office is EXTREMELY clean and hygienic. I should know, I used to intern there and work at the back. It's always very homey and decorated for the season. Students always enjoy the fact that they have other school's yearbooks. It's such a thoughtful added value. What's great about your orthodontic experience at Dr. Devian's is that every time you come back you feel comfortable... like a long lost friend... His work has made such an impression on my life that I can't even begin giving him enough accolades. :)

I live in Whittier so the last dentist I saw was in Whittier. Several years ago he put a crown on…read moreone of my canines and it was horrible. It was like a giant white rock in my mouth. The fit was bad and the back was rough. I was constantly rubbing my tongue on it because it was so annoying. My daughter lives in the 90210 and she had started seeing Dr. Pearlstein a year or so ago and she kept saying "you need to go see my dentist, he's great!" She knew how unhappy I was. How embarrassed I was to smile. In pictures with my granddaughters, you can see how my smile is crooked and tight because I was always dropping one lip to try to cover that awful crown. Then two things happened to me this summer. First, I turned 57 and second, my 4 year old granddaughter told me "Meema, you have ugly teeth." So I decided it was time to do something, after all these years about my teeth and I made an appointment with Dr. Pearlstein. Best things about his practice: His staff is caring and attentive. He has all the latest and greatest equipment. He is nice and continues to check on you. At my last appointment I was in the chair for 4 hours and he kept saying, "are you ok? Do you need a blanket?" I barely felt the shots. The very best thing is how my smile looks today. My husband did not want me to get veneers, but I had been wanting them for years. He kept saying "I love you the way you are." When I walked out of the office last Friday after getting my veneers done on my front four teeth, I saw my husband walking towards me, looking a little anxious. I walked towards him and smiled and he broke out in the biggest grin. He said "YOU LOOK GREAT!" Bottom line - Dr. Pearlstein will be my dentist as long as I have teeth in my head and as long as I have a credit card. Yes, he is more expensive than the average dentist. BUT the way I see it . . . why are we willing to spend $35,000 or $40,000 on a car that only lasts about 5 years before you get the next car, and you are only in the an hour or so a day, but you don't want to spend the money on one of the first thing that people notice about you? I am going to show these babies off for the rest of my life, and I'm smiling so much now I actually am in a better mood! I guess I'm gushing - but I'm just so freakin' happy with my smile now. p.s. They also play Sirius XM station "Soul Town". Most dentists I have ever visited either played elevator or country music. So that's one more thing that I loved about that office.

I called to talk to someone in regards to my bill I received in the mail. I was told the bill will be $430 before my son got his crown done, then the bill ended up being $593.20. She refused to explain why the difference is so high or have me talk to anyone else like the office manager (who I repeatedly asked for), the other receptionist nor the doctor who I also asked to speak to and she hanged up the phone on me and I have everything recorded. I just called now to speak to the office manager again , she indicated she sent the bill to collections and again hanged up on me. Not only is Dr. Piroutek exceptionally competent in the patient's dental care itself, but he treats his patients with the utmost respect, concern, and care. He tells you exactly what he is going to do before he does it, and to me, this is particularly important because I am one who definitely is pain intolerent, and always apprehensive and anxious about all my medical treatment, not just dentistry. Dr. Piroutek takes that into account and whatever the procedure is, it is never as unpleasant as I anticipate. He makes you feel at ease. I have a tooth with a slight crack in it but not serious enough that it needs to come out or be repaired at this point. He obviously checks it every time and it continues to be ok and therefore it does not need to be removed or repaired at this time. I feel that some other dentists might have just said it needs to be removed the first time they saw it. It is fine and I have no issues with it. His entire staff has the same professionalism and care as he does and that actually makes it a pleasure to go every 6 months. I never thought I would say that but it's true. Neeta, Heather, and Lisa make you feel welcome and that they truly want to help you. They have been there a number of years as well and that tells you they must enjoy working for Dr. Piroutek. As I said, I cannot recommend him highly enough.
