I didn't wait long at all before being taken back, and the entire process was incredibly fast and efficient. Since I had a referral, this was actually my first time meeting everyone. My first appointment was the day of my surgery, so they completed a quick consultation before bringing me back to the surgery room. Even with everything happening the same day, I never once felt rushed or overlooked. From the moment I walked into the oral surgery room, I was greeted by Tony and assisted by him and Bobby both absolute sweethearts! Bobby was the first person I met; she took my X-rays and was present during the consultation before the procedure. The energy in the room was nothing but positive. I came in feeling very anxious and nervous, but they made me feel calm and at ease right away. They asked me questions about myself that kept my mind occupied and distracted from what was actually happening, which helped more than they probably realize. That level of care truly shows how much they invest in making their patients feel comfortable. Not every office carries that kind of energy, and it makes such a difference. Dr. Jun was also wonderful welcoming, kind, and professional. As soon as he walked into the surgery room, he began preparing my IV for the anesthesia. The last thing I remember before falling asleep was him reassuring me that they were going to take really good care of me and that is exactly what they did. That moment alone brought me so much peace. You could genuinely tell that everyone there is happy to be doing what they do, and that's something truly admirable especially in a setting where patients may already feel nervous. I felt depressed, frustrated, and full of regret about the treatment decisions I had made. My previous orthodontic experience left me feeling discouraged and hopeless. Communication was poor, appointments felt rushed, and I often felt like my concerns weren't being heard. By the end, I was so uncomfortable going back that I didn't even return to have my braces removed. Dr. Bakar ended up removing them and helping me start over. Finding Dr. Bakar was a complete turning point. From the first consultation, he listened. He took the time to hear my concerns, explain what had happened, and walk me through my options. Every visit since then has been the same. He is patient, understanding, easy to talk to, and never makes me feel rushed. If I have a question, he answers it. If I have a concern, he listens. Today is a Saturday and the office was already closed by the time this happened, so I text the after hours number and Dr Bakar immediately said he could meet us at the office in 10 minutes. He came in on a Saturday evening to take care of my daughter and help her get those baby teeth out so she could be comfortable again.
