I'm 81, and I've never had better dental care in a welcoming and pleasant office than in Dr. Auerbach's office. Every person in his office is competent and friendly. Dr. Auerbach personally oversees every procedure with a follow-up call just to see how you're doing. He has met me on his day off with his assistant to check on a problem I had. His recommendation for a replacement crown done on the following Monday completely fixed my problem. Not only that but Dr. Auerbach caught my sleep apnea which resulted in a C-pap machine that I use every night. I'm grateful he's here in Yorba Linda. First time going to this office and wow it was an amazing experience! I was greeted by the front office staff (Trish and Faith) as if I had known them for years, very welcoming. The dental assistant Jennifer was extremely patient with me and answered any and all questions I had. The experience I had with was not transactional (like previous dental visits I've had at other offices) and felt very genuine. When it came time for Dr. John to begin the check up, he was very warm and welcoming, like talking to a long time friend. He explained everything as he was going along and answered any questions in a way I would understand and not using dental terminology ha! He provided recommendations on treatment and didn't recommend unnecessary procedures which I truly appreciate. Finally the deep cleaning with Diane was phenomenal. She was very careful with my teeth and gums and took her time to really get in there and clean my teeth. The staff is so caring and welcoming that even before the procedure I felt at ease. The gentleman at the front desk, Steven, has been extremely helpful and consistently makes sure that I am kept in the loop on all my procedures. Dr. Auerbach is amazing. Our kid chipped a tooth. We didn't have a dentist in the area, but called around and luckily got connected with Dr. Auerbach. He answered his phone after hours, was willing to come in at night, and gave us advice and reassurance. Based on his advice we decided to wait until the morning so we'd have time to find somebody on our insurance. We ended up taking our daughter in first thing in the morning. He got her fixed up, the tooth looks great, she felt so at ease and better. The whole office was super nice and kind. He ran the price by us to let us know the max we'd have to pay and it was SUPER reasonable. He ran the procedure by our daughter and kept her informed the whole time. She felt very comfortable. I've been seeing Dr. Todd since I was in middle school, and I would go nowhere else but him for general dental needs. His office is sublime--the staff are kind, chatty, and knowledgeable, plus they remember your name and face, so when you come in for any work, they make you feel comfortable from the get. Each exam room has a TV, and during cleanings or other procedures, you get to watch a movie! Their list of films is great, and this added bonus just makes you feel more at ease when you're at the dentist. I personally love the dentist, but since so many people don't, I can tell you that 'A' Family Dentistry is the place to go. Dr. Todd himself is just the best dentist you'll meet. He's so friendly and genuinely cares about his patients. He won't try to up-sell you, especially if you don't have insurance, as I don't. His recommendations are carefully and thoughtfully given, and he's never steered me wrong! He'll put you at ease no matter what the procedure. Also, he has the FINEST touch when it comes to numbing injections! The two times that I've had to get a cavity filled in my life, I went to Dr. Todd, and it's a completely painless experience. I would like to specifically thank my dental hygienist Frankie for her amazing hospitality and efficiency (I had a time restriction that she accommodated while still having great conversation with me). Before seeing Dr Todd & Bobbi I hadn't been to a dentist in 8 years because I knew I had a cavity (the first in my life) and was afraid the fill would be painful, I was assured that Dr Todd and a gentle touch and that I would be in good hands... My friend could not have been more accurate, from the moment I walked in the door I was greeted by staff and I felt so welcome... I didn't feel an ounce of pain and If that wasn't impressive enough, at the end of the day I received a call directly from Dr. Todd checking in to make sure I wasn't feeling any discomfort and make sure I didn't have any questions.
