Pull-up bar assessment: While ultimately we did not install the pull-up bar, John's comprehensive analysis, infrastructure review, and counsel was the principal output. John understood the proposed project and took immediate action to understand the infrastructure before providing us an adroit assessment. It is a practice that is indicative of a quality practitioner is his field. Perfect. Project 2: Crown molding repair: We purchases this residence a few months ago. A piece of the crown molding within one of the rooms magically decided to fall from the ceiling one day. You can imagine how pleasant that was. John knew immediately what to do how to do it. The crown molding is now repaired better than preexisting. Project 3: Refrigerator Handles: With a custom refrigerator and decorative handles, it wasn't your average appliance repair. The veneer panel and associated brackets needed to be delicately removed to facilitate the necessary repair. John was excellent in this project. Not only does he have the experience repairing high-end kitchens, but possesses a skillful eye for craftsmanship and detail. Not punctual, not professional, didn't do a good job After…read moreyears of using alex, I would never ever use him again after this experience If you want to read The Saga... I have used Alex as a handing man for years . He used to be exceptionally punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and always did a perfect job. I could never find one thing wrong with his work . In the past year, his work ethic has declined. He would tell me he could start a certain day weeks would go by, and no follow-up. I felt that I had to chase him to get him to come and do work. He was doing work, just what was most important and profitable. I finally decided to get him to paint my house . When I called him to let him know my concerns, he came over and we walked through everything that was done. He had given me an astronomical price to paint, but I decided to go with him nonetheless because I knew what a wonderful job he did. What I didn't know is that he was sending a team over. When we walked around and looked at the job he told me he didn't realize they were going to do what they did. He admitted the job was sloppy. No nail holes were filled and everything was painted, including an extension cord, plastic hooks for wreaths on my front door , soffit vents. Everything painted! They left all of my things from my front and back porch out in the rain so everything is Rusted now and Faded while it was brand new. I wanted all trim painted white but they just painted everything the same color except one strip around the roof. Since when is door trim not trim? The past few jobs Alex has done for me are less than stellar. I can't open my bathroom medicine cabinet because I bought a light that hangs down in front of it. As a handyman, he should have noticed that before installing it . Then he installed a front porch light that was too close to the overhang. He just threw away the top part of the light because it didn't fit and didn't worry about it. He never said a word I had to ask him where the top piece was. Small things mean a lot and I did not want my entire house painted over every single cord every single hose every single box every single everything completely painted over . I was forced to pay him exactly what he told me to pay him or he threatened to put a lien on my house. Is this who you want doing work for you? He comes across as such a nice kind guy but look out.
