Since one of my bathrooms has multiple problems including conversion from tub to shower, stop the leakage into the wall which caused mold to grow in the drywall. After trying different construction contractors, I found out that only handyman can solve my problems. Unfortunately, the first handyman I came across was a con artist who scammed me and left. Then I came across Jazzy's handyman Service. I called and Deshawn came and looked at the work in the bathroom and kitchen and gave me an estimate. I agreed to the estimate, and he prepared a contract and we signed it. I was surprised when I noticed that he never included what portion of the estimate I should pay in advance. When I asked him, he told me that I would pay him at the end of the project. That was a sign of his confidence in the quality of his work, which impressed me!! We set the date when he would start the project. I was following the day-to-day progress of the project. Deshawn is highly disciplined, enjoys his work, gets lost in his work and loses tracking time. He never cuts corners. He enjoys his work; it is a real meditation for him. This became clear to me when he told me that he left his profession that he was trained for at college up to master's degree, environmental engineering. He followed his passion and went into an area he participated growing up in his family, handyman work. Deshawn is a man of his word. He is punctual, honest, responsible, truthful, trustworthy, and reliable person. I am glad I found a life-time friend!! read more

I cannot recommend Jazzy enough! He has completed multiple projects in my home -- including flooring, installing shelving, handling plumbing work, and taking care of various odds and ends and every single job has been done with exceptional quality and attention to detail. Beyond his skill, he is reliable, honest, and easy to communicate with. He explains what needs to be done, offers helpful suggestions, and always makes sure the job is completed the right way. It's such a relief to have someone trustworthy who can handle a wide range of projects so well. If you're looking for someone dependable, talented, and detail-oriented, look no further. I will absolutely continue using him for future projects! read more

I needed to install 2 floating shelves that I purchased from Wayfair. However, after starting this seemingly little project myself, I became very concerned that this was not going to come out the way I wanted it to. I needed help and fast. I wanted to surprise my husband with a coffee station since he loves his coffee but wasn't sure who I could call for such a small task last minute. My main concern was finding someone to do quality work. I turned to Yelp and came across Jazzy's Handyman Services. Okay, so he had 5 reviews, all 5 stars. I figured let me call to see if he could help me out. Shawn answered and was very nice and super accommodating. He advised he could help me out with this job and it won't take long, he could swing by in the evening. He showed up and did a fantastic job! He also helped me fix a problem I had with a bedroom door. He's detailed, professional, neat, and extremely kind! I am always skeptical to hire people to do work in my home because most of my experiences have left a lot to be desired. But I'm very impressed with Shawn. It's not everyday you find someone in this line of work that cares about quality, is honest, fast, reliable, and an absolute pleasure to work with. And like other reviews mentioned his prices are very reasonable. I am so thrilled I met Shawn today. I am looking forward to working with him again in the future. He's worth it. Call him up, sit back and enjoy his high level of service and the enjoyable experience he provides - and that you deserve. Thank you Shawn for coming through for me today! read more

Sean (aka Jazzy) arrived at our home on relatively short notice (two days). He repaired a closet shelf, which had pulled loose from the wall. He arrived within the time-frame he gave us, was very personable and polite, and went to work reinstalling the shelf. Sean made a point to use special screws and nails which would prevent the shelf from pulling loose again. He was neat and careful around our belongings. His fees were reasonable, and we inquired about getting a baseboard repaired. We hope he can return soon to do more work for us as we have complete faith and trust in him. read more

I finally received the quote, but the price was higher than a contractor with great materials.

This review is for TRYING to schedule an appointment. NO WORK WAS DONE. So I called 3 months ago, he picked up instantly. A good sign. Told him I needed a list of services done, light fixtures replaced, drywall patched, sanded, and painted, new shelves installed, 2 new ceiling fans. He asked that I text him photos of what needed to be done. He said he'd call me in a few days to schedule an appointment. 3 weeks later, I called him again - this time no answer. Not a good sign. I sent him a text asking to contact me. No reply. Another bad sign. 4 weeks after that, I sent one last text. No reply, no call. Based on other reviews, I see that he was slammed with "covid" work and that we should be patient. Well, I WAS patient and gave him 3 months to contact me back. He never called back. Also based on other reviews - he work is excellent. I have no doubt that it is. I however can not say the same as we just never connected and no work was done. This review is for lack of communication - no matter how "slammed" he is with work, he can always call back and say "I have no appointments available for the next 60 days"... but no response? at all? I ended up getting the work done from someone else, but 3 months later... Based on his reviews - if you can get him - do it. That is - IF - you can get him... Edit: In response to his comment.... I WAS FLEXIBLE! 3 months, no call back, no text, nothing. This is unacceptable - you deserve a bad review. To use covid as an excuse for not calling someone back in 3 months!?? pathetic. And yea, I DARED to leave you a bad review... If you don't like bad reviews, if you dont appreciate bad comments, DO BETTER! Next time - DO BETTER! Look at his responses to bad reviews.... I'd hate to see his response if you claim he did a bad job!! read more

Contacted Shawn a couple of days ago and after figuring out a day and time that works for both of us, his team showed up right on time and did excellent work. My husband and I are expecting our first little nugget and scrambling (like all first time parents) to get all of our home projects done prior to her arrival. We really appreciate the promptness of Shawn's outreach and how quickly his team was able to get the work done. The pricing was very fair and his team was extremely friendly, COVID safe and did their best to clean up afterwards. Overall definitely working with this company again. :) read more

Had a full bathroom remodel done with Shaun and his crew. They did an amazing job! Good communication, positive and easy to work with. It was a really big job to demolish a bathroom from the 1970's and work with a really small space, but they were creative, flexible and professional. The project took longer than expected due to Covid, but most importantly- it came out great! Shaun was great about wearing his mask, working around our family's schedule and giving advice about what would look good and work best. He went above and beyond to make sure I felt taken care of thru the whole process. Definitely one of the best construction experiences I've ever had in South Florida! Highly recommend!! read more
