One of the best meals I've had in a while! There was definite nothing left over. I can't wait to eat here again.

The buffet is divided into 3 sections- vegetarian, non vegetarian and salad/ desserts. The salad fixings were minimal. The vegetable soup was nice. The food was okay. The naan was overdone. The dessert selection was minimal. I can get sliced apples and melon at the market. The decor is nice but booths are very dark , high and uncomfortable. I did not feel welcome the entire time i was there. My overall experience was lacking .The buffet( for what it is) is way overpriced-$18.99!!! I will go to other indian buffets in town.

The interior is aesthetically pleasing, spotless, and you can tell that they took care into making that space extremely hospitable. And the food has always been a 8-10/10. The buffet was fresh, clean, and well stocked. The other times I ordered individual meals they were always extremely flavorful, hot, and fresh. The Garlic Naan and Saag are always my favorites. I've tried several other dishes that have wonderful depth to them and are extremely well made. You can tell the dishes are made with passion for the craft. The service is fantastic. I really appreciate the care that is shown for every table that comes in, by every employee. I've had a few people taking care of me at each of my visits and all of them have made me feel welcome and taken care of. I always leave with leftovers, extremely satisfied with my meal, and feel valued as a customer. What any dining experience should be.

I have tried alot of food here and all the desserts and I will say this. The food is much much better than the desserts. The saag paneer extra spicy is my favorite item here. My mouth is drooling as I discuss it. I tried all the desserts and there wasn't a single one which I loved, and I've had Indian desserts many times before. I would definitely come back for the food, Albuquerque doesn't really have many options for Indian food and the food here is pretty decent!

4.5 stars for service 3.5 stars for taste…read more3 stars for dinner price Channa Masala for mild yet flavorful taste Sure, try this place. It won't be your favorite but you won't regret the exploration. Average dinner price for RR. Only 2 staff worked the Friday dinner rush. Thankfully with efficiency. The rice was not 6 hours old like so many Asian restaurant dinners. The spinach paneer tasted unique compared to other Indian restaurants, though not necessarily better. The spinach itself did not spark joy. It had a certain crunchiness, though that's not the right word, and I'm a saag curry food snob so I'll move on. The fish curry uses mahimahi. Can't blame the average restaurant for the world's declining budget fish quality. This place was no exception, on this day at least. The fish was the weak link; the sauce was reasonably nice if not a bit bland. The channa (garbanzo beans) tasted fresher than other dishes and the sauce was so good that we almost got a second order just for that.

The new entrance remodel gave it a bit more class, with the interior being quite casual, spacious, ordered, and pristine. The service has consistently been great. Every single one of the staff members has been nice, attentive, timely, and quite forgiving when we make a mess spilling water. And the food is always flavorful, delicious, delightful, and comforting. The spice level can be specified and they deliver with the right amount of spice. This time we ordered the chicken vindaloo and the lamb mango curry with basmati rice and both bullet naan and garlic naan. The chicken vindaloo was at a hot level that gave some considerable and delicious heat with harmonizing spices. The lamb mango curry had very tender lamb chunks, with a sweet curry that has no equal. It was mild so I could have the full sweetness with a bit of spice. The basmati rice is always a nice break from spice. The bullet naan is fully topped with Serrano peppers in case you want even more heat. The garlic naan is equally full of garlic, fragrant, and neutral to find a break from the heat. Overall, this is a favorite of ours to get nice heat, comforting flavors, and a cozy and friendly place to spend some time.

I had the butter chicken which came with basmati rice, with a side of garlic naan and bullet naan. The butter chicken was very tasty and I had no complaints. I found the naan to be a little on the bland side. The garlic naan definitely could have used more garlic and the bullet naan more heat! The staff were super friendly with smiling faces, which is a nice change of pace from the usual sullen faces elsewhere. The place is a bit bare bones in decor but is welcoming overall. The only downside are the restrooms which were just barely clean and made you want to leave as quickly as possible. I'll definitely be back for the food though as my dish was delicious and I'd like to try the other options they have.

Server accidentally dropped a spoon from the goat curry, which was fine- but the Second Gentleman who came to clean it up, used a pink/orange cleaning rag on the floor. Then about 30 seconds later, the same guy is using that rag on the table next to us to clean it. And then, he grabs clean plates with the same gloves that were just touching the floor. All of clean plates were stacked on a shelf, which people walk by, and the bottom level had visible dust bunnies popping on there. The somosas favor was out of this world good. Which is devastating since I can't picture ever returning. There was also a 30 minute wait after the somosas were delivered until the curry arrived. We had been the only customer for most of that time, but somehow a table of 3 that got there after our somasas were delivered, got their entire meal delivered before we did? Our server was trying. Very kind, nice guy. I don't know if this was an off day or what....but.

I must say, it was significantly better to my taste The pickles were gone, but there was still this unusual taste that I really couldn't place. It tasted almost like pickles in the background, but I'm not sure what it was. Suffice to say, the burger was very good. Was it the best burger I've ever had? No. Sadly, that honor goes to Pete's Frites, and he hung it up after ruining all of us who got to try his burger masterpieces before disappearing. But I digress. No Mames treated me like I mattered. They took my opinions and wishes seriously. I am very impressed. The owner and his wife genuinely wanted me to enjoy my experience with their food, and I must say I did. Their tireless efforts to make me a happy customer are very rare, and they should be commended. I had fries this time, and they are the thin, more crispy variety, which are my favorite. I also received a Serrano sauce and a flavored oil "sauce," which I was told they serve with their chicharrones, I believe. I kinda liked it with the fries. I'm upping the rating to 5 stars, because for me, the food is a very strong 4 stars, but their customer service and care for their craft makes it an easy 5 stars. Go pay this place a visit and let them know what you think of their food. They actually listen and will make adjustments. That's a customer's dream.
