What a great store and family owned business! We went on a Saturday morning with the intention to buy a vacuum. My husband had already done some decent research on brands and styles he was interested in but did want to see, touch, try out before purchasing. Upon entering the store, we were immediately greeted by Kayla and welcomed in. We asked about the Miele brand and models. Kayla was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and had excellent suggestions/tips to share. We found the ones to try, and picked the one the wanted. Kayla put it together for us and even carried it to our car! Talk about amazing service! Important note: They absolutely sell more than vacuums here. Don't know how to rate this. Vacuums & More have always repaired our Dyson, but when they said there was no use repairing it they went into salesperson mode. Talked my husband into it, we bought it, 2 weeks later I wanted to take it back because it is a bear to push and pull on padded carpeting. We were 1 week past return time. Even though my back suffers greatly after using we are stuck with this, for us, a useless vacuum. Maybe this is why they last so long. For me the vacuum is unusable so I would give it a one star. The business was very good at what they do - 4 stars. That rating is because we made it very clear that I did not want a heavy vacuum. We tried it out on their thin carpet..nothing like what we have at home. Disappointed was looking forward to a new machine that would work for us. Family owned and operated. Friendy, courteous and reliable. Had a wall connection for Beam Central Vac. that needed repairs. House is 40 years old. I sent them pics of the current faceplate and it was matched perfectly to the wall. . On time, did a beautiful replacement and it was moved and attached to a stud for security., He also did a great job cleaning up. I recently had my vacuum cleaner serviced at Vacuums & More for the first time because it wasn't sucking properly. It turns out I was missing a piece to hold the bag so they ordered the part, fixed it and checked all the filters - good to go. The first time our cleaning lady used it, it was working fine until she went under a table and sucked up something that made a loud noise. At that point, the vacuum lost its sucking power again. So I took it back to Vacuums & More and they found a wad of napkins stuck in the hose which was clogging it. It took a few minutes to get out, but it works great now. And, because I was just in to get it serviced, they didn't even charge me despite the fact that it wasn't their fault. What excellent customer service! When I'm ready for a new vacuum cleaner, I'll definitely buy it from them. read more

The staff at this store was *incredible*! We have a Dyson that had stoped working. My wife called a closer vacuum repair and the gentleman she spoke with was very rude and dismissive. When she called Vacuums & More she was treated very well and advised that they could look at probably fix the vacuum. When we took the vacuum in the actual repair was done within a day. We went ahead and left the vacuum to be cleaned and given a tune up. The vacuum now works like brand new. We will definitely return to Vacuums & More for further maintenance and for future vacuum purchases. read more

Stopped in today with my clogged dyson v8 tank that I couldn't get open. I had overfilled it. Store owner was terrific, was able to open and empty tank, made recommendations for cleaning and keeping vacuum in good working order. So helpful and so kind and didn't charge me for his time. Wow, reviews are really accurate. These are really good people. It's a Mom and Son team and they really deliver! I had trouble with my 5 year old Dyson DC17 not sucking any air through the bottom and called them to see if it was even worth the repairs. They encouraged me to have it looked at because those vacuums last for 10 years or more and it sounded like it was a very simple issue to fix. The service included a full take-apart cleaning in which they look at every single part of the vacuum. When I took it in, he indicated I probably just needed a filter, but I had him do everything. Id rather them replace something that looks like it's about to go NOW, rather than paying for the service cleaning again. It ended up that I needed a new filter and roller brush. They keep what they fix to have you look at it as well. My vacuum looks and acts better NOW than when I bought it off the floor at Best Buy. I can't believe how amazing this vacuum is! We discussed new vacuums and they showed me a few on the floor that didn't do nearly what mine does. They really encouraged me to save my money and not get a new one. I'm so thankful!!! read more

I love the vacuum cleaner I bought here! I'm always extremely wary of salespeople, but there is NO PRESSURE to buy anything here. That was one of the things I enjoyed most when I was looking for a vacuum. Ryan was very patient, explained what models they had, let us test out all kinds of vacuums, and didn't bat an eye when we walked out of there without purchasing anything. I went home, did my research, then returned to the store and bought a vacuum cleaner. There were four different models of the vacuum I bought, and even though we walked through the pros and cons of each price point, they never tried to upsell me to a more expensive vacuum that I didn't need. A pleasant lady said they would try to put in this new brush-bar part in our vacuum but usually things don't fit well in this inexpensive vacuum. Then Ryan came out from back room and explained that this brand of vacuum usually is hard to repair, but since I had the new part he volunteered to dis-assemble my vacuum and put in the new brush-bar. YEAH! It went in and worked OK. Ryan seemed surprised it went so well and declined to accept much payment for his service. Great outcome for me. Based on the reviews, I thought I would try and bring my Dyson animal in. It is only 5 years old, but the red light blinking telling me it wasn't sucking was enough to make me want to run over it, so I thought I should get it checked out. I was quickly greeted and asked what I needed. The lady turned on my vacuum and moved it to the rug and the light started blinking so at least I knew I wasn't losing my ever loving mind. Her brother, Ryan, took over to gently explain to me that Dyson discontinued the needed parts to fix said vacuum. I'm sure my eyes were glowering at this point and the f bomb was at the very tip of my tongue, but there were some children in there, so I refrained. Are you effing kidding me? It's only five years old. Ryan took the time to explain to me why it was not working and approximately how much the parts would be, if they still had them. He showed me another option, but after listening to what I want to use the vacuum for, such as cleaning the ceiling fans, he brought me over to a Miele. I didn't think I was in the market for a new vacuum, but apparently I was. I was literally putting all my weight behind the Dyson to get it to go through a rug. It was crazy. This Miele moves like buttah.. pardon the phrase, but nothing else would do. So easy to maneuver and they even put down what imitated dog hair to show me how it is no match for our German Shepherd. It has a Hepa filter to cut down even more on allergens and the bag has this little trap door to prevent anything from getting out. He showed me everything about the vacuum and made sure I was good to go and even carried it and the dead technology Dyson back out to my Jeep. Need a vacuum? Go here! Family owned and operated and these people seriously have a deep love for vacuums. So much better than your big box shop for something like this. I'm so glad I checked out the reviews and stopped in! I have a Dyson DC18 which had really stopped working to well. I went by the shop a half hour before closing time and to my surprise Ryan took the sweeper back and fixed it! I've been going here for a few years and service was good until a week ago. I took my vacuum in for repair on 12/27/21 and the person that took it overly insisted on me buying their brand because they would soon no longer take dyson. I felt really uncomfortable that had never happened there before. I later was contacted by a women and said my dyson was ready. I said okay what was the problem as i was thinking toy, hair pin etc... She stated that a dead mouse was stuck in the hose. I was was truely startle and responded your kidding me she so no I'm not. I apologize and stated I have no clue how that could have happened. I don't have rodents I keep my home baited but I realize they can come in particularly in the cold. She said we can no longer repair or service your vacuum. I said because of something out of my control she said what would you do, your technician or customer? I said well if it is a customer that has repeatly came back and you have never encounter anything of this sort then the customer. I was really angry and told her I would write an review because she insinuated I done this purposely and I was deeply bothered because I was honestly telling the truth. I then went home and check on my baits and there was no activity. I mean I seen NO mouse droppings anywhere. I set new traps with fresh peanut butter a week from tomorrow 1/12/2022. I watched it for a week daily checking each trap and also checking for droppings. NOTHING ANYWHERE. Everyone knows if there is one mouse there could be up to ten so I should have had some activity. I did this because I was appalled that I had continued to come to these business and this is how they treat a loyal customer. I also believe the week my vaccum was there is where the mouse got trapped. it had to be or I would have seen some type of activity in my home and I have not. read more

We bought a vacuum at the Clermont location (which is now in Avon) about 9 years ago. We took it in about 2 weeks ago because it quit, fully expecting to buy a new vacuum. We have always had great service, but was especially impressed when we were told not to buy a new vacuum, that they could fix ours for $125. When we got our vacuum back it looks and works good as new. I really appreciated them encouraging us not to buy a new one, when it would have been an easy sale. I took a department store vacuum here and had it repaired even though they do not sell the brand. Could I have had it repaired at the place of purchase? Of course not. V&M not only figured out was wrong with the vac but they also repaired it for a very reasonable price when they could have told me that mine was broken and then tried to sell me one that they sold. I will eternally respect them for doing that and will look to them when my repaired vac bites the dust (pun intended). I suggest you do the same. read more

What a wonderful business...could not recommend more highly! These are the most honest, the most helpful, and the most professional people. I took my (old!) Riccar in for service and they were SO honest about giving it a tune up. They actually recommended against it since one of the major, irreplaceable parts was close to breaking. They looked it over, recommended not to fix it, charged me nothing, and did not push me in the least to buy a new one from them. They actually signed me up for their mailing list for their upcoming discounts. Shortly thereafter I took in my boyfriend's (even older!) Riccar for a tune up. They did just what it needed that could help it to get a little more use. Less than $20 and again, friendly, helpful, honest and not in the least pushy. This is a local business so please visit them instead of just another big box store...I'm wanting them to stay around for when my Riccar is finally done for good so I can get another! I went in looking for a part for my 25 year old vacuum. Sadly, my research was confirmed. No available parts. The shop was staffed by the owner and 2nd generation. They are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and want to serve their customers well. They brought out a similar model to my old vacuum and I am so happy I purchased it!
