Both rentals also had pool access, the home a private, heated pool that we greatly enjoyed. In addition to the properties though, the staff was excellent! We had trouble finding the first location because our gps was down and customer service guided us over the phone to the property. We also had a complementary fresh sweet bread and bottled waters left for us during our second stay. I highly recommend a stay with Five Star Beach Properties - they make the booking process (over the phone or via their user friendly website) easy, the properties are one of a kind with state of the art amenities and great views, and the customer service is fantastic.

I took it the same day. What I didn't know then is how much their listings move. At the time I accepted, Storybook's page on their own site was headed "Storybook - Pet-Friendly Vacation Rental in Destiny by the Sea with Private Pool," with "Pet-Friendly Property" as the first item under Favorite Features. Today that same page drops the pet-friendly language entirely and the amenities list reads "No Pets Allowed." Both versions are archived and public. When I raised it, the response was that there was "no indication on the original reservation" I'd be traveling with a pet. The indication was their listing, for the home they moved me into. Nobody acknowledged it had changed. We scrambled for dog care and lost the first night of a week we'd paid for in full, and on arrival were still made to wait past 4:30 to check in. The property itself is fine. The way they handle their own mistakes is the problem.

They are always quick to respond to questions and provide excellent service if an issue arises. Frangista is an awesome neighborhood with a great gated private beach as well, so no crazy traffic on the beach during peak seasons. Rentals are always spotless upon arrival. Check out the old greek church a few streets back if you get a chance.

The hotel ammentities are very nice however. The gym is by far the best hotel gym I've worked our in, and I like the 18+ hot tub away from all of the children. My only complaint with the pool area is the actual pool. I haven't seen the indoor pool, but it would be nice to have another pool that isn't swarmed with children and 3 feet deep. The staff are very helpful, and the repair man who helped fix our room door and shower fixed it quickly and was super helpful and efficient. The front desk attendants where very helpful when our room wasn't in the system. Margaritaville being a 2 minute walk from my room is awesome and the food and attractions are awesome. Overall not a bad place, just a few things I wish were different.

The bathroom light NEVER worked! I can't believe you would actually try to say someone came. We will never use you again and will definitely NOT recommend anyone else use you. Especially if you're going to lie. And the bugs.....they were alive and tons, I mean TO S under the couch and beds! That place had not been cleaned if forever! Toenail trimmings on the rug so bad you wouldn't even want to walk on it. Dirty rugs! Felt like they had a gummy film on them. You have a 2.5 rating....did you go and lie about all the others bad reviews too? And I didn't even mention the grill outside....covered in nasty gunk that's been on there forever and not cleaned because it was there the first time which was over 4 years ago. We didn't use it then because it was disgusting and this time too! You need a new cleaning crew and you need to stop lying!

Will rip you off…read more.. We picked a unit for a decent price. Paid for travel insurance ... two days later they changed us to another unit a more expensive one... unfortunately we are not able to arrive on the estimated date because of the Teo storms coming in... travel insurance that they sell is a joke and won't cover for anything... After multiple calls and discussions we where offer by Chloe to move the trip Two days out (never mention an additional cost at that point) they when we call again since the current unit we have is more expensive not they want $28 dollars more, when I told them we never wanted the more expensive unit they said sorry nothing we can't do to change units (you where the ones who changed it on the first place) The second rep was ANGELICA horrible and rude, she laughs at me when I express my u happiness about having to pay the extra money ... she was so rude.... this will be our last time using compass resorts. And please don't waste your money on the joke travel insurance they offer ..../

Houses are all in perfect shape, most have private pools and are only a short walk across the street from the beach. Kitchens are nicely appointed so a stop by the local grocery and you are set. The owners are local and live near by and they are pet lovers too!

They were very responsive and helped us with a virtual tour since we are out of town. They checked several properties for us until we found out our hidden gem. They know the area pretty well, also they know everything related to short term rentals, which was key for us. They also helped us after closing finding some contractors on the area that could help us with landscaping for our property and original wall paint from the builder.
