It was extremely salty, but other than that, fresh and really good. The second time, I got the Tropical Delight Bowl, but subbed regular chicken for the jerk chicken. It was a rice bowl with chicken, plantains, mangos, guac, and peppers. I loved all of the flavors together, and the portion was huge! I was full and it didn't even look like I ate anything. I ended up having the leftovers for two more meals. Highly recommended, and I'd definitely get it again!

I ordered the double bmc smash burger and it came out hot and delicious! I loved the grilled onions on the burger and thought they have a fantastic sauce on the burgers. When getting a smash burger you have to get a double too! Now the one disappointing aspect was I ordered the fries and they definitely left a little to be desired as I wish you got some more with an order. Typically you can share a fry but this one was a little too small to share. I definitely will be back again soon as I want to try to the spicy smash burger and I hope it delivers as well as the bmc smash burger did! This is by far one of the better smash burger spots in broward so give it a try, it's worth the drive even if you aren't in Oakland park! Especially for the fact that parking in the area is free!

She even gave great recommendations for the bakery next door while we waited for the food. 4 star ambience: the interior is warm and welcoming while still being slick and modern. Outside parking is a breeze, although the neighborhood is still slightly gritty (13th Street corridor in Fort Lauderdale, sort of a much smaller version on Miami's Wynwood). 4 star food: The food was mostly basic standbys prepared very well (burger and fries). I got them hot and it tasted like crystal. No real flavor just a little heat and salt. Ended up eating a couple and tossed them. The griot sandwich was interesting. It great but not bad, just salty. Not something i would probably order again. The burger, now that was the redeeming quality. This burger was REALLY good. Cooked right, seasoned well, tasted fresh and easily my favorite of the three dishes i ordered. Fries were solid. If i went back to Bruno's, it would probably be after they were 100% setup and running at full capacity. I would definitely get another burger and hopefully a lemonade.
