Every station he gets a little something to positively reinforce his participation in the experience (stickers, little toy, and of course, he got to pick what kind of toothbrush he wanted). Doctor Allie and her team just know what they are doing. Even when making the appt, they are patient and flexible. 1 Star - Disorganized and Poor Communication…read more I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Main Street Dentistry in Winter Park. I received a call today informing me that they no longer accept my dental insurance as of January 1, 2026--for an appointment scheduled on Monday, May 4th. What makes this unacceptable is that I made this appointment after January 1, specifically because that's when my insurance became active. This should have been identified and communicated long ago, not days before the appointment. To make matters worse, I was also told that my son is "too old" to be seen by a pediatric dentist. This was never explained to me at any point. I did not realize that dental pediatrics differ from medical pediatrics in age limits, especially since pediatric medical offices regularly see patients until 18 (and sometimes older). I have spoken with this office at least three separate times, and my son even had a birthday in April--yet no one mentioned this during any of those conversations. When I questioned why this wasn't addressed sooner, I was told they "neglected to inform me" because they didn't have Delta Dental's phone number. That explanation makes no sense, considering they were already on the phone with me multiple times and could have clarified this at any point. Overall, this experience reflects poor communication, lack of follow‑through, and disorganization. Unfortunately, this has been yet another disappointing experience with a dental office, and it's very frustrating to have things fall apart due to issues that should have been addressed from the beginning.

I've honestly waited longer at my own dentist office for my own appointments. Once in the back, Cheyenne was amazing. So patient and great with my 2yr old and 3yr old. Then Dr. Behzadi came in and was also very gentle. For anxious children, there are tv's in the rooms, positioned just above the chairs. My 2yr old ultimately was fine, but was a little nervous, so being able to watch Paw Patrol while having her teeth cleaned was a big help for her. All in all, we were in and out pretty quickly once we actually got seen, and the total time in office was only one hour. Not bad for two children. Also, after being seen, you are given a token which the children can use to get a toy out of the prize machine. Which of course excited them very much.

We are both so grateful that we found Palm Springs Dental! Have had a couple of cleanings (with Lindsey) in the last year (wonderful experience with her too!). Today I saw Dr Schroeck because of sensitivity to heat and cold on one molar. I'd been putting it off for a few weeks because of my fear of fillings, crowns, root canals.... Melissa (Dental Asst) helped ease my fears and did all of the prep work for Dr Schroeck to evaluate my pain. He found a cracked filling and explained that best option was a crown. I was given the option to return another day to have that done or stay today and just get it taken care of. I chose to stay. I was also offered nitrous oxide to help ease my nerves (it worked great!). Dr Schroeck was very gentle and explained everything as he was working on my tooth. He made sure I wasn't experiencing any pain while he was drilling! I have a follow up appt in three weeks to get the permanent crown. I cannot recommend Palm Springs Dental enough! From the office staff to the dentists and dental assistants (and hygienists too!), I am so pleased with the care I've received at this practice!
