STAY CLEAR IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR MONEY ROBBED! I am a college student here in Michigan and owner…read moreof my 2001 ford f-150 2.6L v6 for an engine swap last year around november december because of a low pressure failing cylinder 5. When I took it in I was told I would get a call back with the pricings for as new engine. When I recived my estimate, I went ahead for the engine swap. For a 6000$ job I was told I was told by a man named frank, I would be getting a well done job within a few weeks and within the time frame of repair, a rental car for no charge only charge for gas. The job had taken almost over a course of a month and a half and when I went back I was being helped by a women named Sue who gave me attitude the whole time my truck was in shop until she was later fired. After time went on I recived my truck almost half a month later and it was not running right and they told me to run it to ford for an obd scan that they did not have in their system and I was also told I needed an entire new exhaust system because the catalytic converters were gone and the pipes were rusted. I spent 1000$ on that job to get it fixed and when I did they told me the engine was not right and it wasn't the exhaust system it was still the engine. The truck was DANGEROUS and BARLEY OPERATIONAL. It would turn off on me completly while driving. I was driving to ford on the highway and I felt the truck slowing down, I came to realize my truck died and did not want to turn on causing a near accident. Ford charged me for a $685 to tell me that Cylinder 1 was failing because of low pressure, misfire caused of bad timing, and also that my injectors had seemed to be broken during the process of an engine swap causing the truck to die. After I recived my truck from ford it ran a whole lot better. I ran it straight to deals on wheals shop and gave them the issue. Their response was they could not take it in because they fired their mechanic and were loooking for a new one. So my dad flew over from California to help me fix this problem and to help me focus on my finalsand in the meantime he drove me around to school and back. When they finally took it in I was getting in trouble with their rental cars and being accused of issues the car was having when I took it back. They wanted to charge me for a new tire and damges I was accused of causing even though they were already there. After finally the truck was ready for pick up, it ran a whole lot better but still seemed to die. I was told I needed an entire new exhaust system because the catalytic converters were gone and the pipes were rusted. I spent $1200 on that job to get it fixed and when I did they told me the engine was not right and it wasn;t the system it was still the engine. So my dad flew over from California to help me fix this problem and help relive the stress to focus on school, in the meantime he drove me around to school and back. The truck was sent in for repair and when recived I asked sue "if I break down on the way home God forbid how will I get it back here" her response was we will send a tow for you here with no cost. It semmed to run so much better after the second engine swap and didn't give much trouble other than some misfire here and their but I was told "it was just the new engine getting gas and its normal". When school was out I drove it all the way to california. This trip turned into a living hell for me and my dad!!!! We broke down in Illinois and when I called to get a Tow back to their shop I was told their would be a fee. So we slept in the truck at a gas station. The following morning I called a tow to the nearest mechanic. I was told that the harmonic balancer was rubbing on the crankshaft position sensor causing it to short. They did a temp. fix at a cost so I could get home. I had a low budget and no choice but to get it fixed. I got to Iowa where I broke down on the HIGHWAY!! for a SECOND time!!! We got a hotel slept the night and waited until the following day to pick up my truck. We had been told that the harmonic balancer was not put in right and it caused the teeth to break on and the crankshaft position sensor top break and the anti-freeze and fluids had not been changed. They showed me how dirty it was and suggested I get it replaced. They also said the oil was not good and needed to be replaced. I was charged about $600 for their job. In after getting it all fixed and situated we got to vegas and the tempeture levels were through the roof!! There was not enough fluid and the anti-freeze dirty. (Keep in mind no one touched fluids) Me and my dad added anti-feeze and it got us home. Until the second day where the truck just gave out. We took it to ford and they told me the engine was seized up. Oil pressure was not good at all and the oil was really black like as if was never changed. Save your money and go to a REAL mechanic shop!!!

Extremely poor service service! We brought in our 2001 F-150 for low compression on cylinder 5…read more After visiting several shops, we felt comfortable with Deals on Wheels and decided to proceed with service. We were told we needed a new engine. We were told it would have taken 4 days. 4 days turned into 2 weeks. When we got the truck back, we returned for our 1,000-mile oil change with engine issues; we were told it would be fixed with normal use. However, this was not true, and we left it for service. We were told they did not know the issue, and they ordered a new engine. After engine two, there were still issues, which we then decided to take to Ford, where we received a printout from Ford saying there was low compression on cylinder 1. A new engine was ordered and installed, and after another 2/3 weeks of being lied to, we finally received the truck back "ok." We drove to California and broke down numerous times. One mechanic stated the work was shoddy and sloppy, his exact words being, "Any respectable shop would clean all components and install the new parts and not strip parts off the old engine." The engine was sized once we made it to California the next day. We found metal shavings in the oil as well as a gray sludge. I ultimately need a third engine replacement. We spoke to the owner and were told that they were going to do nothing and that they "lost money" by adding and removing parts that they did not charge us. My answer is thats your problem cuased by, poor engine supplier choice, and shaddy work. The owner also stated that he would have denied service if he had known this truck had come in. He also stated he had asked the mechanic why he took this in and was assured it was a good deal. This is evident that this shop is a scam and a crook. We will be reporting to the state and all relevant government agencies.

I waited a couple weeks after buying my car to write a review, so I have a few miles on it already…read moreincluding a drive to Detroit and back from South Bend. I'm in Indiana/Michigan 2-3 months a year and have always rented so I decided to buy a car to keep here. With that in mind, I wasn't buying my "dream car". I was looking for a car that was specifically reliable and versatile. I settled on a rather gorgeous Audi Q5 Quattro. The buying process was very casual and low pressure. We worked with Melissa and she definitely tailored her sales approach with the needs I mentioned earlier. There were a couple cars I looked at that she definitely advised against knowing my needs. She was honest about the condition and history of the cars, producing their reports to me free of charge. There is a QR code on the front of every car so you can stop and at your leisure produce all of the car details including pricing. I really like this as opposed to other car companies that put you in the position of looking at cars that are out of the range you are willing to spend. I was paying cash and had a very specific budget so was able to parse out only what was in that budget before even working with a sales person. The only reason for not getting 5 stars is that the cars weren't cleaned before selling. I found that a little odd that I opened the glove boxes and found old candy wrappers and receipts. The carpets were dirty in the backseat too with what appeared to be chip crumbs. It's nothing to really balk at, I just found it odd. All things considered I would recommend Automax for a low pressure sales experience and cars that all seem to be gently used high quality cars.

I desperately wanted the chance to buy this wheelchair van. I first reached out on the fifth and…read morewas told that although it was listed on their website, Facebook, and cars.com, that it has been taken off for a paint job due to rust. I asked when it would be in and was told Wednesday January 14th, but that they would call me when it was in for sure. That day came and went and I heard nothing. I reached out again and was told it is still in the shop. Fast forward to today, I reach out to Alex with a "?" as I still heard nothing and was met with a message saying that someone else is scheduled to look at it. I called frustrated and was met with "well, several people reached out before you so we have to go through them first". Never was I told that before today once. If you're looking for a wheelchair van, do not bother with this place as you can wait 2 whole weeks for responses, reach out multiple times, and still get passed over. If I could give zero stars I would. I have attached pictures as proof of lack of response and for when I first reached out. Edit for a reply to their Google reply as I could not reply to it via Google: The owner's response makes this look like a "miscommunication," which is not accurate. Over the course of approximately two weeks, I checked in multiple times and was repeatedly told the vehicle was still in the shop and that I would be contacted when it was available. At no point during that time was I informed that there was a line of interested customers or that others had priority. I chose to end the conversation because trust had already been broken. This dealership had multiple opportunities over two weeks to be transparent and chose not to be. I was not proactively contacted with an apology or clarification; instead, I had to reach out yet again to learn that the vehicle was effectively unavailable. Under those circumstances, it was reasonable to disengage rather than continue working with a dealership that had withheld material information. Also, I am not located in California, I am from Indiana so apologies for that not being reflected accurately.
