I've been a customer there for over 6 years. NEVER had any issues . They're very friendly.

Vinnie and Tracey are the owners, and they have a very friendly yet professional salon. this is a very family oriented salon. They are friendly and helpful. I have had several different people do my nails and they are always gentle and my nails always look "fabulous!" They offer you drinks and get you seated very quickly even when they are busy, which is most of the time, because they are all so good at what they do! You are treated like family. I get my nails using dip powder, and my daughter gets a pedicure. she LOVES "Grandma" who does her feet~ very gentle and takes her time to do it right! Whether you need manicure, pedicure, or both... give this place a try!!. They are located by Walmart Neighborhood, and it is very easy getting in and out. I can tell you, you wont be disappointed! read more

I walked in and was not greeted, however they were a little busy, so I sat by the door. I told them I wanted a fill in and a pedicure, they told me what chair to sit in. As I was sitting, the lady in the chair next to me was getting a pedicure as well and was saying that it wasn't being done right. I stayed just in case it was just different circumstances. However, when other people came in, they were greeted immediately. I took that as my sign to leave. Maybe on a different day service would be better. read more

The absolutely worst nail salon I have ever been to. Went in for just a cleaning and manicure. Had to ask for the nails to be cleaned twice and still didn't help. Barely trimmed the nails.if the girl doesn't want to work get someone else. read more

I don't get my nails done regularly but when I do, I always go to VT Nails. They are right near the neighborhood Walmart on Ladson. They always get me in and out. The shop is clean. They use plastic covers on the pedicure tubs. Rather then picking out a bottle of polish, they have little plastic nails you can hold over your nails to see how the color looks against your skin. I like colorful toes and clear nails. read more

I needed a fill in so I called in to see if they take walk ins; they made me an appointment for later that day. Within a few minutes of walking though the door, I was seated. The environment was a bit messy & none of the staff were wearing gloves, but they were wearing masks. However, if you can get past this, I would recommend giving this place a try. I am very picky about my nails but was impressed with how they came out. Huyan (sorry if I spelled that wrong!) was very meticulous & paid attention to the most minute details. V & T is conveniently located in the heart of Ladson. They have the usual colors of gel & acrylics for mani/pedis. Seems to be kid-friendly because there were a couple of tiny pedicure stations. If you're in the area, this place is a good, affordable option. read more

I have been here a few times. I've never had to wait long. Yesterday I didn't have to wait at all. The nail tech was nice. He offered me water/a soda once he started my service. He took his time and made sure the powder application was perfect. I have recently switched from gel to dipping powder. Dipping powder is $45 here. Other shops in the area usually charge $50. They offer a huge selection of regular colors. I wish the selection for dipping powder was better, however. I didn't get a pedicure this time but I do like them here. They aren't rushed. read more

I just moved here from Cali and was hesitant to find a new nail place! I searched and searched and came across V&T. I looked at images and was very pleased. I'm super picky when it comes to colors and shapes. I saw a lot of people recommended Leon so I made sure to ask for him when I booked an appt. he listened to exactly what I wanted and took his time. The effort he put into my nails was so pleasing. He was so precise and made them look absolutely perfect. I also got my toes done by I'm not sure his name but he took his time as well. Didn't rush through it and they look SO good!!! I can't wait to go back! Thanks so much!! UPDATE!!! It's been two weeks and this is how my nails look!!! In the pass I've had ssoooo many problems from nails breaking, color chipping, etc!! They still look PERFECT! Ask for LEON! He's amazing!!! read more

Went for a pedicure with my friend and it was the worst pedicure I've ever had. The guy who did mine cut both of my feet deep enough to where I'm still bleeding 10 minutes later. Once he saw he cut me, he continually pushed his nail into it and burned it multiple times with acetone to clean up the gel polish on the skin. When it came time for the massage, he put lotion on and that's it. Worst $63 I've ever spent on a pedicure. read more

Fast and friendly service. Very pleased with my pedicure. Would recommend for the pedicure

This was my first visit but it won't be my last! My nail tech was a young man named Leon; he's absolutely fantastic! He was very personable, polite and extremely meticulous! I have found my new spot and my new nail tech! They're very good with hygiene by using liners in the foot spa, disposable tools and wearing gloves. Very neat and clean. read more

I originally went to this nail salon in July 2021 so this is an update to my review. For whatever reason I got the same two folks that did my pedicure manicure last time. The pedicure was excellent again. He did cut the cuticle around my toes on two or three toes this time but it was very mild. The lady that I had for my manicure at station number two at the front checkout area was much friendlier this time. She actually spoke to me a couple of times briefly. This time though she cut my hands up quite a bit. So much so she had to use a little bottle with green liquid which I assume was alcohol on several of my cuts where she cut my cuticles. My hands are still quite sore. I wish they did not do such good work as far as painting with gel polish and such because otherwise I would not go back. Her nail cutting supplies were just in like a sunglass case holder with a paper towel. Nothing was vacuum wrapped or sealed. The prices went up three dollars across-the-board since July. A gel manicure is $38 and a pedicure with a cuticle remover was $38 as well. read more

I have been here 5 times. First time I had a amazing experience and it just got more average after each time I went. Giving it two stars because the prices are really good and Vinny's brother does a amazing job. But my nails constantly break after a couple days to two weeks which I never had that happen before at other shops. The tech who did my nails last did not do a great job, not sure what his name was but the quality he did, did not even come close to my last experience when I went. Just the skill there is not consistent. Also one time I went In Vinny was fixing one of my nails that broke within 2 days and used unsanitary nail clippers, it had rust all over it... People are nice. Just no longer the place for me. read more

Nails with dipping powder ($45 and up service) were done on 5/30 and now 5 nails have cracked. Two nails were 'repaired' two days ago and they look nothing like the rest. And now three more are damaged. They would only offer to fix the three damaged nails and refused to redo the whole service since now I would have three different styles of nail. They were nice about it but people spend a lot of money for such services and it should be done right the first time. Last time coming and will definitely deter others from coming. read more

This salon is located right in the heart of ladson. Every time we arrive we are greeted promptly and offered a place to sit while we wait (should we even have to), as well as a beverage. The techs are always extremely understanding and speak a good amount of English! They're always helpful in showing me what colors to pick! The salon also has 2 kiddie pedicure chairs so bringing kids isn't a problem! They offer ombré services Dipping powder Full acrylic gel sets And always make sure the shape is exactly how you like it to be. They also make sure your nails aren't thick and bulky like most salons. So thankful for my nail techs! 10/10 recommend :) read more

THE WORST !! Let's start there. I came in for a pedicure . Why did it take this man 1hr 30 min and Was even finished he kept messing up the paint job and started over at least 3 times !!! Before I started to complain about not having any more time to waste !!!! Then the other guy came over and started to finish . I just ended up saying FUCK IT leave my feet alone I'll go somewhere else because who wants to sit there for 2hours !!!! For just a fucking persecute what a joke to think I wanted a full set too !!! NO FUCKING WAY . And then if they start talking shit in Vietnamese as if I'm the person who fucked up cause I'm not gonna waste my whole day in there!!! $73 for CRAP JOB . My two big toes were chipped so I asked for tips and they charged $15 I've never done it before so I figure ok that's the price no big deal. THE MOST UNEVEN FUCKING TOES I SHOULD HAVE JUST KEPT MY CHIPPED ONES WTF !!!! No apologies no we can do this.. blah NOTHING JUST SHITTY . K done . read more

I came in today just to have a set removed, and ended up walking out with a really wonderful manicure in the cutest shade of pink! The technician who took care of me really did a lovely job on my nails; they're a beautiful shape and she helped me pick the perfect shade of polish. Very rarely do I get my nails done, literally 1-2x a year. The salon that did the set I had taken off is one of the more well known establishments around but the service was not very good, the price was very high, and their tools didn't seem particularly clean. V&T Nails is so close to home and I'm so happy with the service and price that I may start getting them done more regularly. Additionally, I watched my technician open a sealed package of files and a buffer before getting started, and pulled tools out of a sanitation device. I'm just so tickled with the manicure I got today, the service was lovely, and I can't get over the shape of my nails! The team of technicians at V&T were all happy and friendly, and clearly like working together which matters to me! I want to be in a positive space, and today I was! All around an unexpected and very lovely Sunday treat! read more

I've seen really nice reviews of this place so I decided to try it out. I don't know if this is a thing for all of the workers, but the man who did my fill in was so ridiculously rough with my nails. His spinner file thing was so harsh on my nails and it felt awful. I'm not a sensitive girl and have never had any experience like that. (He also unplugged my headphones and threw them at me when he wanted me to wash my hands, even though I was reaching to unplug them myself). My nails were crooked as well. The paint job wasn't bad though. The place itself was very clean and cute though. read more

I love this nail salon. Both times I've been here the gentlemen up front (who I assume is the owner) is very friendly and attentive, even on a Saturday when they have a full salon. I got a set of acrylics here with gel polish as well as a gel pedicure, both came out perfect and when I asked for specific things to be done (like 3 coats of polish instead of the usual 2 coats most places do) they had no problem doing what I asked. My polish came out very clean, went all the way to the cuticle, and all my nails were the same length. read more

Today was perfect. The owner and entire staff were so friendly and gracious in allowing the large bridal party I came with to come 30 minutes earlier then their open time. We were all served timely and all of our needs were met. As soon as we came in we were given colors to pick, offered beverages, and seated immediately. Tammy cuts toe nails very short to the skin causing toe nail pain. She dreaded working with my mom as she is elderly and used the excuse of language barrier to half ass the job. Thanks to Krystal who shafted my mom over to Tammy as she did not want to work with my mother. At first, they said they will not charge if customer is unhappy. Then, they charged $40 instead of $48. The owner had the audacity to the us not to bring our business again. For that lack of professionalism, and to be that rude, they deserve this review. read more

Horrible!!! My gel manicure lasted 1 day and French pedicure looks horrible. I told the girl thin lines and she didn't do it

Not really sure how this place has a high rating. The gentleman who did my pedicure was horrible from his attitude to the bootleg job he did. Nails are crooked, polish not accurate. He rushed the entire pedicure and it lasted all of 15 minutes. The massage felt like he was taking his anger of the day out on my legs. My feet feel like he beat them with rocks and there is blue residue on the bottom. It's totally my fault for being too lazy to drive to Mount Pleasant. Never. Again. read more
