He sliced the baby back ribs and packed them up. I ordered the sausage sandwich. My wife loved her bbq ribs and my sausage sandwich was very tasty. They have tables inside and outside if you prefer to eat there. We order from there quite often and the food is always delicious.

Anywhere from water, milk, and orange juice to coffee, beer, and sodas. All across the board good selection. This place is meant for truck drivers, so truck drivers might have a different opinion lol. As far as a convenience store it's defiantly that. Hot and ready food? Obviously there's no actual pharmacy here since it's on the river level with no access to street parking. It's not even your standard CVS. Sure, they have the basics like snacks, cosmetics, etc, but what tickled me were the ducky plushies in cowboy and beaver hats. There are also post cards and $20 phone chargers, one of which I needed since I accidentally left mine at the hotel. Would I come here to buy anything otherwise? Probably not, but it was certainly worth checking out. And the cashier was also very nice. She did ask if I have a phone number with CVS (I haven't for several years now. I wonder if they ever actually close those years old inactive accounts). She also allowed me to simply use the reusable bag from the Alamo we already had with us to save the trouble. Oh and an entire aisle dedicated to Texas and San Antonio. It was a fun time. Also, the shelves could probably stand to be wiped down more. Lots of dust. And what's this? No kitty cats to greet me? Now I'm sad. :( I'd come back just to see them, and they're good for keeping rodents away. So for the cat haters out there, bear in mind they're smarter than many give them credit for as they hunt mice and birds to keep the river walk free of infestations.

Driving from Lake Tahoe to Houston and we had never been to QT before. We fell in love with the…read morelevel of service the options and typically the gas prices are pretty good as well. But this one in downtown San Antonio was the worst. When we were in El Paso, we had to wait 10 seconds to get a new bottle of creamer and the guy was so apologetic. He has his two free coffee coupons for the delay so every morning of this trip we've been excited about going to QT and having breakfast and coffee. But san Antonio was a complete disappointment. We had to wait 10 minutes to get some of the finally bring out creamer and the gentleman next to me another customer said wow she didn't have to have such an attitude. So I said OK good it's not just me. The app didn't work and a ton of employees standing around texting when myself another customers were looking for help. Only reason I gave it two stars instead of one it's because it was an inner city gas station, which I'm sure gives them a lot of problems. Two of their four coffee machines were down and many of their pull handle coffees were empty with just water coming out. Of the machines that were working, we had to let the staff know that they were out of coffee. Only one gentleman who is running a register seemed to be really trying out of the whole staff.
