I decided to give this place another try since it's "under new management". Worst decision of my day!!! First, it smells disgusting in there, I should have left at that point. I ordered the Monday special which is a 9oz mangonada for $3. The sign says $2 but when we ordered we were told it's $3. I asked to see the cup size and it was reasonable. Such a disappointing experience, my son wanted a banana split, which we have bought many times from Amigos Snacks and More, just off Rigsby. He paid $16 for two orders. He went to the guy at the register to complain about why our order was so small, the bananas were turning brown, and the scoops of ice cream were the size of a small scoop. We asked if this was a mini order, and the boy stated no, this is our regular size. To which we responded, no, it's not - we were here 2, maybe 3 weeks ago, and the splits were much bigger and came with fruit. Do NOT go here. I was over charged for BOTH items and the portions were so small for the price. The menu explained exactly what came with the Mangonada Loca and I even asked and the cashier said what the menu said. When i received this there was 2 candies and no tamarind stick yet the menu said 10 candies and the stick , chili powder and chamoy. He charged me for each topping he added individually. Also got the churro split and asked how big it was. He showed me a full size churro. When i received it it was half the size and the ice cream scoops were so small. After asking what the deal was the cashier said it's not his problem and the menu is just wrong. When i asked for the manager he explained he is the manager and he can't honor the menu or refund the money. This boy said he could charge me extra for what the menu said already came with it!!!! So everyone has their opinions. But this was the best mangonada I've had so far. It came with lots on it. Tamarind straw, lollipop, extra chamoy to evenly spread out through the whole cup. I ordered through Uber eats and I was so surprised when they followed my instructions to the tee. I asked for extra jalapeños for my nachos, all toppings on the side, extra chamoy and they game extra chamoy AND Lucas. I've never had anyone actually get full Uber eats orders right like this, especially when asking for extra sauces etc. also the mango icee taste super fresh.
